a Mamasan told me that, until the boy is "offed" he's available still....I saw someone with a customer that I was with before and wanted to off again. But I was shy (I was still new). She asked if I wanted him again, I said yes, paid his off and she told him to get dressed and come with me. I felt awkward for a moment, but reminded me of Filene's Basement (Boston reference, Reader will get) It's not yours until you've taken it to the check out...... These guys are there to make money, not sit and chit chat all night long not knowing if the customer will be a customer.....they prefer the sure thing over 100 Baht tip.

I compare what the same service costs in a similar country...Colombia, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Indonesia, Philippines...for example. As anyone that has read Namazu's recent trip review, his Brazilian friend has pointed out how inexpensive Thailand is to Brazil. So how to justify the fairly large price differential for a MB ? I don't tip any differently percentage wise in restaurants or hotels between any of the countries I mentioned....confused why the expected rates are so different for MB's?

That's a 2-way street...We're not ATM's either, some of their negotiations/techniques would put a used car salesman to shame ....they try to use those that pay 4000 or 5000 to be the standard and think that's now the bar to cross😉

But you're not the normal customer....ask the motobike dealerships or the Apple store (joking) 😉

I know you didn't ask me, but I'm willing to bet he has a similar response 😉 I love both places....but Brazil, sex is more passionate and it doesn't feel as transactional. No matter how bad they have it, living conditions, family problems, etc.... you'll normally not hear about it, pity trip conversations.....and no "up to you" Sex is def less expensive in Brazil and most of guys are super fun to be around...... Food , massage and hotels are generally better and cheaper in Thailand, and is safer........Brazil didn't shut down during Covid. I was pretty good friends with Hugh Miller, he was the manager of the Ambiance hotel when JIm and Gordon owned it. The stories about the stories he told about the tricks the boys do to get customers to buy them things and "gift" them more money....actually, was kind of sad to hear. Knowing how foolish men can be....it's 10 times worse in the straight world 😲

That's news to me, went I met him in BKK a few years ago, he knew nothing of portuguese nor of Brasil......and of numerous trips in Brasil, I saw his progress. Keep in mind, Brasilian portuguese is different than motherland portuguese....and Carioca Portuguese is different than Brasillian portuguese, lol
