  1. I have had a few boys over the years watching porn on their phones whilst in bed with them. If it’s quality gay porn I’ve run it on my large iPad, and watched myself.
  2. I have quite a few pictures of my Thai “boyfriends” stored on my iPad and home pc. Whilst some of them are what you could call “sexy”, ie for example in bed with me or wearing jocks, none of them are phonographic and I would not share them with anyone else or upload them to the internet. The majority are are just normal “tourist” type pictures eg in bars, beach, travelling etc. The early ones were taken on non-digital cameras, processed commercially and then scanned from the prints. Many happy memories.
  3. Quite a saga pong2 ! i remember the first visit I made to Thailand in 2001. I took a mixture of USD And GBR cash -plus a wad of Amex USD travellers cheques. This was just before the internet took off as a source of information for travellers. I recall cashing the cheques in banks and being amazed at how much purchasing power I received. The rate was around 70 baht to £1. I returned home to the U.K. with a good proportion of the cheques which I used in USA subsequently for cashing and for direct settlement of hotel bills. i don’t suppose anyone still uses travellers cheques ?. Maybe they are not available anymore.
  4. Yes mostly they just stroll around without actually taking a seat in the bars. There is nothing at the entrances to the Complex to indicate that it is predominantly a gay area. Probably they don’t feel confortable about being surrounded by us gays and our young boyfriends. There are usually a few str couples in the Complex hotels And I have sometimes chatted with them - one couple asked me about the gay scene in general. You hardly ever see str guys with their Thai girlfriends in the Complex
  5. Agree Boy69 - I stopped going to BBB after it became dominated by screaming Chinese ladies. Better when it was patronised 100% by gay men.
  6. During my stay at the Ambiance, the place as well as BT in general, was quiet being towards tte end of the Covid restrictions.. In fact at during the first couple of days I thought there were no other guests. I had one of their better rooms for a bargain price and I was happy with everything: aircon, cleaning, wifi etc etc. The tv did not seem to have any English channels but I was there on a boy orientated trip, not to watch tv . I stayed there many times up to 4 years ago when I moved to the Complex owing to the problem of late night noise from a karaoke bar, which isn’t there now. The staff were friendly and had time to chat and supplied extra towels when I had a short time boy during the day and one overnight. The restaurent was closed - maybe it’s open now.
  7. I always carry a copy of the Id page of my passport whilst in Thailand, as I believe carrying the actual document risks losing it or having it stolen. Typically I’m wearing lightweight shorts and shirt without deep pockets in which paper deteriorates in hot tropical conditions. The passeport stays in my room safe together with other key items;- insurance details, 2nd debit card, flight details, drivers licence etc etc. I’ve only been asked to show my passport twice by the police twice in 20 years when in boy bars subject to raids. The copy was accepted on those occasions.
  8. That’s a huge endorsement for East Suites Boy69. I’ve stayed in nearly all of the Complex hotels but not this one. I certainly like the sound of the jacuzzi suite and the thought of entertaining boys in it. Did you actually make use of the two bedrooms ?. In July I stayed at the Ambiance so I think I’m due luxurious accommodation next trip.
  9. I’ve only been in Thailand (Pattaya) once during the Xmas/New Year high season and that was 12 years ago. The downsides of this period were high flight/hotel prices, but I don’t recall any shortage of boys. I think more arrive to meet the demand from increased numbers of affluent gay tourists as opposed to money conscious residents.
  10. I too have no desire to go with ladyboys. Like you I am gay. They are all over in Pattaya so there is obviously a demand for their services. Some closely ressemble woman but others are just boys using make-up in female clothes.
  11. I have met guys who go to Thailand to have sex exclusively with ladyboys and yet maintain that they themselves are not gay even they enjoy the same activities as us gays who like boys. I would say that if you suck cock you are certainly gay - but they don’t agree.
  12. I can afford business class but my tough North U.K. upbringing has conditioned me to travel MAN > BKK economy, saving approximately £2000 / $2200. Yes it’s uncomfortable that way - small seats, queuing to use the toilets, no sleep with the constant Noise and adjacent passengers wanting to get past etc etc. But I used to run marathons 20 years ago and they were also similarly uncomfortable even painful but the satisfaction in reaching the finish was huge. It’s the same for me travelling economy where the satisfaction is reaching Bkk saving 2000 quid on the business fare.
  13. Yes Max, every time I return home after several weeks in Pattaya indulging in risky gay sex, I worry that this time the odds on developing a sexual related disease will have caught up on me. I’ve indulged in unprotected anal sex on occasions there in the past 20 years and oral every time. The more I think about it, the more I cannot understand why I haven’t contracted an STD, but each time I go for a test it thankfully is negative. Perhaps I should quit whilst I am ahead.
  14. Over the last 20 years of visiting Pattaya I have always enjoyed kissing gay Asian boys, both in bed and also in gay bars and on Dongtan beach. Mostly they will allow it including tongue kissing, although on occasions when I find reluctance, I do not persist as doing so would spoil the occasion. I can’t remember ever asking permission.
  15. I made a trip to Pattaya during late June/early July which was right at the end of Covid restrictions, visiting Sunee (Winner boy bar) and Jomtien Complex, offing boys from both and also from internet sites ( Romeo and Grindr). The bars were very quiet but I anticipated that by now tourism, specifically gay tourism, would have recovered to “normal” levels, but that is not evidently the case. I think two factors are negatives at the moment, the price of airfares (checking Expedia I see that a return ticket U.K. - Bkk, late November / early December is around £1250, double pré-Covid. Also there has been a lot of publicity on U-tube about the floods in Thailand. The Complex is supported to a large degree by expats rather than tourists like myself, but they are more cost sensitive than the latter, particularly as regards drinks. So maybe the Complex, like the other 2 gay venues is doomed to fade away, as far as the farang trade is concerned anyway. I will have to decide whether to make the trip soon. - a friend asked me to accompany him to Spain so that is an option, but there are no Asian boys there !
  16. I very much enjoy being rimmed in conjunction with having my balls licked. I try to make it clear to boys I’m about to off what my requirements are but later in bed I sometimes encounter reluctance from him to actually commence. In the bar with the language barrier I’m usually not convinced he understands what rimming entails and even when the boy has some English a vague reply of assent to my request does give me confidence that he will perform. However over the years I have been rimmed by a good proportion of money boys and during periods when I had longer term relationships I was able to “train” my “boyfriend” to accede. I’ve not had any sexual health problems from rimming or indeed from oral sex, but maybe I’ve been lucky as I think I was when I indulged in bareback anal sex when I first discovered Thailand.
  17. I visit always visit Canterbury Tales bookshop during my Pattaya trips where there is a fantastic selection of used books by most popular authors. Good books are an essential item for my holidays there often reading them on the beach. I have chatted to several of the old expats sat outside. Interesting to hear about all their issues like accommodation and visas. They mostly are in some sort of relationship with a Thai woman and once I was asked if I was also. I had to admit that I was gay which did not seem to surprise them - Pattaya seems to accommodate all varieties of expats and long term visitors.
  18. After starting holidaying in Thailand I realised that it was A whole different ball-game but I never complained about the greater expense after Spain. I’ve always found the boys worth every penny or baht and intend god-willing to be still returning into old age.
  19. Prior to discovering Thailand in 2002 I spent quite a few holidays in gay favoured resorts in Spain and Greece, principally Playa del Ingles on the island of Gran Canaria. Then needless to say I was a lot younger and much better looking. I used to hit the gym hard for weeks before the trip. There was very little gay for pay involved and most time was spent on the gay beach and enjoying the nightlife. Plenty of sex yes but not essentially involving money. The nightlife was not priced much different to that in str bars and clubs but I always got though a fair bit of money.
  20. Pleased to hear that it has reopened. I visited a lot pre-Covid both on my own or occasionally taking a boy with me. Not sure what I paid for the latter, maybe the farang price. it was very popular about 10-15 years ago but attendance had fallen during 2017 to 2020, but I suppose this was general in gay Pattaya.
  21. I was in Pattaya during July and had an enjoyable time having a boy in my bed most nights. Getting to Sunee was no problem by walking or taking a motor bike taxi, where I offed boys from Winner, taking them back to Boystown where I had a nice stay in the Ambiance. Bringing boys there from The Complex was also easy, helped by the quieter roads in that period. As you mentioned checking the websites Romeo and Grindr produced good results.
  22. Over the years pre Covid I spent a lot of afternoons on the gay beach and very often got into conversation with other gays of various nationalities. Principle subjects discussed were health and medical, pensions, the visa rules, price of condos and of course boys. Many said they hardly ever visited the boy bars and if they did it was just to socialise with friends, but nevertheless most had Asian boyfriends either currently or in the past. One said that the gogo’s were just for boy orientated tourists like me. the figure on 12is12’s post of 2000 gay expats could be right but I see no.prospect of the Thais doing a census. I’ve never been an expat - my longest stay was about 2007 when I spent 2 1/2 months in Thailand.
  23. In June/July the gogos had not really got into full swing with the exception of Winner from where I offed on three occasions . Transit between the three gay areas was quick and easy due to the quieter than normal roads and because I have no fear using motor bike taxis even three up. That was the theme of my post. I think for my next trip I will go back to staying in the Complex, with its profusion of boys, both twinks and more mature.
  24. Pre Covid I often stayed in the Complex at one of the gay friendly hotels (Zing, Agate and Poseidon). But I enjoyed looking for boys in the BT and Sunee gogos. Returning later with an offed boy was usually by motor bike taxi taking what seemed like no time at all. On arrival it was good to sit in one of the bars for a while taking in the late night scene. in this way I to some degree combined the advantages of the three areas. However during my June/July trip this year I operated the other way round by staying at the Ambience and bringing boys back on two occasions from the Complex.
  25. Agree 100% - when I made longer trips to Pattaya ( 1 to 4 months) I usually acquired a longer term young boyfriend living with me in a rented condo. I gave regular money at weekly or 10 day intervals and can remember one boy feeding part of the gift into an atm to be withdrawn by his mother in Isaan. Of course in addition there were small gifts such as clothes and cheap jewellery but most was cash. After receiving the cash one boy treated his friends, but I was rewarded by good attitude and sex.
