  1. The best and BIG + of GR is not "cheap", but very wide choice of boys, as well filter by age, preferences etc...

    Sansuk sauna

Oh, what did you expect? It is peak time now (Christmas + New year), so boys mainly are busy at work and opposite: a lot of tourists are in Pattaya... as well - as it is mentioned above - not like in western saunas best time in Thailand is about 5-6 PM.
  3. Why do you think about them "professionals"? Each parlor has just a few (sometimes just 1-2) who is working there at least 1 year... but mostly they are filled by "professionals" who come from Isaan "for better life", never been used trainings about massage and had just short instruction "how to deal with clients"... Ok, in oil massage they cannot injure you for sure. But in Thai massage it can be very easy to have even more problems with health in time when you exit from massage shop than in time when you enter there. How they (this boys and girls who never been trained) can fix your muscles or bones if they don't know where they are in body and how to deal with that? Even short basic professional training (2 weeks) in recognized by government school cost 10000 Baht. Second grade (150 hours) cost 16000 Baht. Who from this boys or girls from parlor can pay this money? Or you think their parlor will pay for them? So they knowledges about body and massage are close to zero. That why I don't trust them. Coz I want not "touching" but therapy of my body's problem. Ok, for happy ending with oil I trust them
  4. You not "have" but "may" change it for to have possibility for cheap calls to thai numbers (if you want). As well you can add voice auto-message to your USA-number with your new thai number. Then all callers will call you to thai number and they will pay for calling but you will not pay for roaming.
  5. Yes, it's point. Point "from other side" - try to find license of masseur to which you trust your body. Parlours - are places where are working anyone who want to have job. Boys and girls may be have simple training about "how to massage clients" or may be not. If you want "happy ending" - it is right place, but if you want real Thai massage - it may be wrong place. I found Ef for myself specially coz I want to be sure - I will have not only "touching" my body, but real thai massage from person who passed trainings, exams and has license. Do you know - I have one only body for whole life, so I want to be sure if my body is in hands to which I can trust I think we had discussion about this already?
  6. Oh! Thank you very much!!!
  7. Have you visit Ef's website? Ef is call out thai masseur. That why he worries about card - distributed in hotels and clubs they have to be his "remote smile" He has no parlour - he has just website and business card will be his "sitting outside"

  9. Since russian ruble became 15% stronger against $US and about 18% stronger against Euro for past 2 years, Thailand can expect more visitors from Russia - for winter 2010/2011 there are 72 charter flights per week from Russia to BKK and Phuket in comp. with 54 in past winter. As well russian (Aeroflot) and arabian (Qatar, Emirates) air companies almost double q-ty of regular flights to BKK from Moscow.
  10. Thank you! This card expect to be used for promotion (to leave in hotels etc.). So it should be attractive for target group first. That why I ask here I know Ef's preferences already.
  11. thank you colors and design is very depending on business... for some business even is enough plain white card with first name and phone number thank you for your voting!
  12. Oh! Thank you!!! I'm not native to English
  13. It isn't spam I'm at forum not so long time, but you can check - my replies are here in many treads. Right now I really want to find more attractive variant. Designs aren't identical - there are different photos Ef or other details. If they will be very different - then I can choose by myself But when they are close in differences - I try to find more attractive variant with your help APD: 9 views and no one vote
  14. Hi there! My friend and thai masseur Ef asks me to make him design for his business cards. I made few designs and cannot choose which one he should to print. Since Ef's thai massage is for men only, I ask you at gay forum. So, before printing I ask you to help to choose best one. Please vote. As well any comments are welcome. Here they are (gray or white borders around card is only to show printing area, business cars is black only): #1 #2 #3 #4 #5 Thank you for your help
  15. could you please to read my message again? I wrote "fix price is in table"... In fact you can get even less than 800... lowest fare I got from private car - it was 500 Baht (in July)... but I think it isn't possible to get this price from taxi...
  16. Keyword in this sentence is "for free". Linga is filled with moneyboys. You have chance to pick up for free if you are 25-30 yo and good looking.
  17. In BKK all taxi have table with fixed prices for destinations outside of BKK. Some drivers who is working in Suv.Airport take it out, but while you are in BKK you will see it in each car - they must have it like they must have table with photo and name in car.. And yes, I use normally 1000 Baht when I arrive at deep night when Bell's buses don't working... usually I use Bellservice coz time and result is the same (door to door) for 200 baht...
  18. Fixed price for taxi to Pattaya from Suv airport is 1050 Baht incl. toll fee... but at departure level you can hire taxi for 1000 Baht and even for 900.
  19. Ah... Do you trust to everything what people tell you? It's easy to check - look at GayRomeo... You will found some accounts with known from MEN's faces there, but will not found anyone from GB... Staff from MEN's tell "I'm straight" coz it easy "to keep distance" with guests at this case, but profiles will tell you true And about gayfriendly hotels: yes, as I wrote - there are many gayfriendly hotels in Siem Reap, but in general cambodian people are more conservative about gays. It isn't like in Thailand where in general nobody worry about behavior.
  20. Very good report, thank you Since in 2010 I have been in Siem reap 5 times already, I will put here few "fixes" coz Siem Reap changes very quickly 1. Golden Banana since July has 4 parts - new one is new part of B&B - with chic rooms and pool. If count price\quality ratio - now it is the best part of Golden Banana. IMHO resort in GB is overpriced. Staff in GB mainly straights, but they are extremely friendly, guests are allowed in GB for free (1$ for extra towel). Food in GB's restaurant is so-so, but their Lemon Ice Tea is the best in Siem Reap. Walking time from GB to Pub Street is about 5-7 min. 2. Men's resort. It is men only hotel. No womans allowed to enter in Hotel. MR is best place if you come to SR for Angkor AND for "adventures" coz every evening (6PM-10PM) sauna in MR is filled with local boys and they aren't moneyboys. Sauna has "Turkish\steam" and "Sweden\dry steam" sauna-rooms, dark labyrinth with private rooms - each with door, fan and dimmed light, paper towels. As well complex has big jacuzzi (for about 12-14 persons), pool with sea water. Entrance fee for locals is only 4$, for tourists 7$, for guests of hotel - free. In MR guests are allowed, free. Hotel has very good bar near pool. Since one of owners is from France french meals in MR are very good. In MR resort they offer only oil massage (good) for 18$. There are no sport\thai\khmer\foot massage. MR has own tuk tuk and car. Time to Pub Street by tuk tuk is 10 min, price 2$. 3. Temple bar\disco has very small dance floor - just about 3x4 m so it is VERY crowded every time. Just behind Temple (and Pub street) at next very small street is local disco (formely name "Hard Rock"). 4. Linga bar is one only officially gay bar in SR since Miss Wong is "gayfriendly". Crowded every evening with moneyboys Linga bar is interesting only for to watch queer-show by Saturday evenings, you cannot find there local boys who is waiting for some meetings "for free". 5. Best place to eat native khmer food is "Khmer Soup" restaurant at Pub Street (about 10$ per evening\per person\with alcohol and tips). More simple but VERY popular with locals is "Karo" - just 50 m from Pub Street, close to Night market (about 5$ per person) 6. Almost all hotels and "touristic" restaurants in SR accept bank cards (add 3-4% to rate) Few "IMHO": 1. Since Siem Reap is very small city (3x4 km) it isn't so important "where to stay for gay life" - if you will stay close to Pub Street then you will need visit Men's "for actions". If you will stay in Men's then you will visit Pub Street for dancing. In both cases you will have the same distance to Angkor (about 5 km to Park's entrance). 2. Do not forget to include to program of visit Tonle Sap - biggest lake in Cambodia with floating villages (after rain season lake takes about 5% of Cambodia's territory), 15$ per boat +15$ for car, 4 hours, best time to visit is before sunset (to watch from lake). 3. Normal hotels in SR not like in Thailand mainly not allowed to your guests overnight stay - check before booking if hotel is gayfriendly, some (few) hotels will offer for 2 men only twin rooms. But there are a lot of gayfriendly hotels in SR, don't worry (all mentioned in first post are GF).
  21. for travels I have 2-SIM phone and use 2 SIMs at the same time: local and my own... local SIM for Thailand is 1-2-CALL card... from my experience: 1-2-CALL has best covering in Thailand: even in hills at North of Thaialnd it continues to work when rest aren't working already (no signal) - from 2-sim phone it easy visible: when 1-2-CALL at local card continues to work, after few switches my own card est. roaming via 1-2-CALL too: rest networks are unreachable...
  22. I use their service many times from airport to PTT and back... rate is 200 Baht.
  23. Ok, I agree with you what 5000 isn't fair price and it is overpriced By the way: did you check Ef's massage?
  24. We spend 5 days at the begin of July in Rooms and 5 days in Tui's in best rooms of each - 1-st floor (both rooms are just wall-to-wall). So I can compare both guesthouses. Tui's - is more friendly, better kitchen, more simple rooms. In Tui's we got fire training when lighting system in our room started to burn and emit smog to room from under-cells. Shortcircut followed to that turn off all electricity in hotel then As well bathroom in Tui's was much more simple and looked more older (in fact it looks like bathroom from 500-Bath-guesthouse). There are not too much space at balcony and no roof - so at daylight is very hard to sit long time at balcony - too hot. One more detail - bed was very nice and soft, but made many noise Price was 1200 Baht + 300 baht for 3-d person. Rooms - more moderm style, more chick room, very clean bathroom. Yes stone jacuzzi in balcony isn't modern, but we spent a lot of time in it. And balcony has roof and "screens" by sides - so you can spend hot time in shadow. Room's staff wasn't so friendly like it was in Tui's. Breakfast was much more expensive than in Tui's. Price was 1600 baht + 300 baht for 3-d person. In first half of July there were no construction noise in Rooms.
  25. Rooms Club at next door with Tui's has jacuzzi and rainforest shower at balcony
