Check sites in my "forum signature" - under this post and write to boys, they will be happy to make tours, sightseeing, shopping, nightlife and countryside adventures. Almost everyone has motobike, so you will have not only personal guide, but also personal driver for very small fee:

Short report Ok, contact forms are working now. Also http://siamroads.com/ got a chat-window with admin (me for now, boy on duty late). When admin is online you can see chat pop-up button at the bottom right corner. At next week I will fill boys profiles, for now only Kaung has is (as a template).

WTF? Sansuk. Sauna and guesthouse in the middle of nowhere. It's located outside of Pattaya and still not in Jomtien. While activity in sauna by the evenings can be attractive, you will use bathbus on the way to Jomtien and on the way to Pattaya.

Guides are not for navigation Also they are not only guides, but concierge, translators and "scam protectors" Google maps can't show you interesting places (at least can't suggest) if places aren't on main "touristic roads", it can't tell you "avoid this crowded place", can't say on local language "I insist to use meter" in taxi, can't call to local theater and reserve seat, and for sure can't offer to spend 2-3 days in real local village home With navigation you can easy find place if you know about him, but navigation can't help you when you don't know about that place exist, also navigation nor google map can't help you to plan visits.

Thank you Michael for promotion Thank you forky123 for feedback I made few such projects: Thailand, Bangkok http://bkk-tours.com (old site) http://bkktour.info (modern) both sites offer gay guides and companions in Bangkok, but some boys can travel around Thailand and even to neighborhood countries. Here they are: Yaya Ohh: Samit: Pattaya: http://www.thaimasseur.biz/ - primary target of site is male massage by male for gay visitors, but Nick (Ef) also has professional license for bike taxi - so for solo travelers he can be driver and guide around Pattaya. As per me: it is great opportunity to have guide, concierge, masseur and trusted companion for your service in travel and all in one person Nick (Ef) Cambodia, Siem Reap: http://www.angkorcars.com/ transportation (taxi) btw Poipet (thai border) and Siem Reap and guiding http://angkorboy.com/ guiding service Chay - guide and boss of service in Cambodia http://siamroads.com/ - is in design stage yet - we (me and boys) started that project just few weeks ago - target is: to connect all services to one network since Bangkok is main hub for region. For now we have just 4 countries: Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Philippines and Thailand. To the beginning of high season I expect to have 6 countries to be involved to project (+Vietnam and + Laos). But for now with persons mentioned above we have also: Sareth - Siem Reap, Cambodia - licensed guide for Angkor Jethro in Manila, Philippines Kaung in Burma (Bagan, Mandalay and Yangon) Since design of site still is in progress, contact form and orders will avail. in 7-10 days, sorry. If anyone has questions, pls PM me or use contact forms at http://bkktour.info/

BB House, right at Dontag beach - btw Bondai and Tui's
-
Yeah... Linga is gone even when it is still at the same place - owner is changed. But Siem Reap got quite charming and very comfy new bar - Barcode. Have been there and it was pleasant time.
-
it doesn't worth to use it: the same taxi cars, but prices almost twice higher than normal... example: travel BKK - Poipet by normal taxi 2000 baht, Uber offers the same for 3800.
-
Normal taxi will cost you about 400 Baht. Take it at first floor. Skytrain airport link works till midnight. Location next floor - basement B. To get to Silom area you have to make 2 transfers btw lines, but looks like you arrive too late to make transfers, better take skytrain to Makasan station and then take taxi for short trip to Silom, or just to take taxi to Silom from Suvarnabumi: that time no traffic jams on roads. Be ready to pay toll on roads 2 times (as I recall 60+25 baht) if you will take taxi from airport.

>>>300MB of 4G on DTAC for 9 baht. This seems incredibly cheap it is contract
-
Yes. Visit any 7/11 and ask for SIM for Internet (it will work also for calls, but rate will be not optimal). 500 baht 2 Gb included (or 3 Gb, I forgot). Be ready for to show your passport: under military coup law they sell SIMcards only with passport registration. Also it should be activated in 7/11. Be ready: internet will start to work in 2-24 hours - depends on day of week and time when you buy your SIM. Situation with SIMs has been checked by myself in April in Bangkok (from buying card till it started works was about 12 hours).
-
I prefer Jomtien stay. Main reason - there are hotels with pools and not so crowdy and noisly like in Central Pattaya. Villa near pool for just $30. Paradise.

Long-time Thailand visitor- standard/normal massage virgin.
Moses replied to newalaan's topic in Gay Thailand
Let me give you some "insider" info. Boys and girls who are working in massage shops live on tips: their salary is about 100 baht per day +50 baht from each massage (from oil usually 100 baht). That why they are sitting in front of shop and trying to catch customers. Working day lasts 12 hours, 4 day off per month including sickness. Penalty for each additional day off 300 baht. At high season they have 4-6 customers per 12 hours of work, at low season 2-3. They call customers who don't pay or pay small tips "Cheap Charly". Usually they expect tips about 50% from massage price for nonsexual service. -
I am just a week from BKK. Had stay in Om Yim and in Amber (Soi 16, Silom, 5-7 min walk with bag from Chong Nonsi ) What can I say? Om Yim's glory IMHO is in past. Pity. No more nice staff, but outdated furniture, old towels, cockroaches and ants in rooms, very slow wifi, tiny lobby. Amber for the same amount of money is much more better: bright, new, modern. But most important: unbelievable good work of staff: nonstop caring about your vacation. Even when Amber isn't gay hotel, I had no any problem with. Highly recommend it as the substitution for Om Yim.

Beijing: Forbidden City + Circus at evening Great Wall but not the "touristic zoo" at Badalin but original Simatai + Digling imperators underground temple on the way back Temple of Heaven + Summer palace Shanghai TV tower + historical museum in the basement of tower + Oceanarium just 7 min walk Historical quarter + Yu garden + riverside at sunset-evening don't forget to ride maglev on the way to or from airport Seoul Imperator's palace Sejongno + korean historical museum on the square in front of palace, + sunset lazy walk by Insadong arts-shopping street and crazy evening at gay-mecca Itaewon district

Check Amber... it isn't fully booked yet (at least yesterday wasn't)

You are right, but partially: there is no democracy in Russia. But Putin is still supported about 3/4 of Russians since he gave them better economical life.
-
I suppose what drink price/ticket system is linked with licenses. May be for to sell tickets they have to have some more licenses and regulations - like fire-safety and other things which they can avoid just while they are bars. Also it can be connected with taxation and or with money laundering - may be tickets must be numbered and can be controlled but nobody can count q-ty of drinks...
-
As per me - Om Yim is good choice: very close to BTS, friendly staff and owners.

Right article, wrong topic header. Rouble exchange rate and oil price - the only reason of declining flow of Russians to Thailand. 1.Thailand becomes too expensive (2 times) for blue collars, so they again take tours to Egypt and Turkey instead of Thailand. 2. Price of renting apts in Moscow (and other big cities) drops down 30% in roubles (that means in USD almost 3 times): half of property market is empty now cuz labor migrants went to homelands - salaries in roubles are still the same in Russia, but in migrants home currencies salaries became 2 times less.In past about 200 000 of Russians had residence in Thailand while left own apts in Russia to rent to migrants. Now they haven't money from rent, so lend-lords flow back to Russia. And almost nobody cares about Putin here, but many ppl start new day from checking oil price.
-
As I told many times here: I'm not Russian. But I live in Moscow for long time already.
