Dear, it is forum's rule. When you registered on this forum, you checked the box "I have read and agree with the forum rules". A man should keep his promises, this is how adults and responsible individuals act. Are Democrats and Jesuits the same thing? "The end justifies the means"? Steevee... What you will do if Trump will win?

Well, "someone" was Islamic terrorist, but who cares, right? Sure. Inbound tourism in Russia at past year was 4 mln, at this year it expected to be 5 mln. So, to the end of 2024 Russia expects to have 9 mln hostages in total. But the topic is that Western airlines have lost the competition to Chinese companies and are fleeing routes with destinations to China

The truth is more simple: many airlines lose competition to Chinese airlines and cutting their routes. Chinese flights are more cheap and less time consuming. source: https://www.reuters.com/business/aerospace-defense/all-flights-into-europe-must-avoid-russia-fair-competition-lufthansa-says-2024-10-16/ source: https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/companies-markets/transport-logistics/europes-airlines-dial-pressure-face-chinese-threat

Well and that means what more than half don't think so.

Steve, dear, what you'll wrote here, if Trump will win?

Aeroflot. They have good marketing, since even you know about their existence, although the company does not even have 200 planes. Aeroflot is a medium-sized company and the fact that it cannot fly to Europe now does not particularly bother anyone here - the company carries passengers and remains profitable. But giants like Delta have to bear losses. Today I looked at the schedules, AirIndia flies from Vancouver to India, from Amsterdam too. Alone. And European airlines survive only by making joint flights with AirChina and ChinaSouthern. Isn't this the topic? European and American companies are losing to Chinese and Indian ones because their home governments have put them in conditions where they cannot fly the shortest routes, their flights are 1-2 hours longer and tickets are 15-20% more expensive. That's why they are leaving the Chinese market - they can't compete. Clients prefer to fly with Chinese companies - it's faster and cheaper.

it isn't about investments, it is about Lichtman...

...or not Past performance is not a guarantee of future results. (you may read that everywhere - it is mandatory warning by law)

Due to political decisions by their governments, Western airlines have become uncompetitive on Chinese and Indian routes and are forced to reduce flights or even stop them altogether because tourists do not fly on their flights. This is a forced action for Western airlines, forced into it by short-sighted decisions by their governments.

In the first seven months of this year, the number of foreign visitors to China soared 129.9 percent year on year to 17.25 million, said Liu Haitao, NIA deputy head, at a press conference. Meanwhile, a total of 341 million cross-border travels were recorded, up 62.34 percent from the same period of last year. And almost all were served by Chinese airlines. West again shoots own legs.

it is too early for Russian season in SEA: Turkey, Greece, Cyprus still have nice weather and warm sea, and they are much more close to European part of Russia. Most Russians what you see now in Thailand are mostly from Siberia and Far East.
