abidismaili Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 In all of my trips to Pattaya I have stayed in Boyztown (Copa or Ambiance). I want a change, and plan to stay very close to Sunee. I see an extremely cheap hotel (20 EUR for a single night) there. It is called Marina Inn. I don't expect much luxery for this price. I do not need it. As long as the shower works decently and the bed is reasonable I am ok with it. Since it is so close to Sunee, I don't expect it is a problem taking a boy to your room? Any of you have experience with this hotel? Quote
Guest frequentflier Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 No problem as long as he has an ID.card. Quote
abidismaili Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 No problem as long as he has an ID.card. Yes of course, that is the same as in Copa/Ambiance. But how is the hotel? Decent rooms? Quote

kokopelli Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Only used it once for short time room; rather basic and not worth the money. Maybe other rooms are better? Quote
abidismaili Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 Only used it once for short time room; rather basic and not worth the money. Maybe other rooms are better? Not worth the money? It is only 19 or 20 EUR for one night. Cheaper is almost impossible. Quote
Travellerdave Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 The Marina Inn is good value, particularly if you like using the pool. I stayed there a few years ago so maybe my comment isnt worth much. More recently Ive stayed at the Don Plaza. The rooms there are better, but the steep stairs maybe a problem for the less active. My problem with hotels in Sunee and BT is the noise if you have an early night. Of couse there is no difficulty bringing boys back at either hotel subject to ID checks. Quote
kokopelli Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Not worth the money? It is only 19 or 20 EUR for one night. Cheaper is almost impossible. I wrote short time; I believe the cost was 600 Baht for the one hour I was there. The room was a dump even for short time. Quote
ChristianPFC Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 I stayed there two or three times last year and was happy with the room. Regular rate is 800 Baht per night, in summer they had a special for 499 (which was extended without me asking for it after the deadline, but once I think I paid 800 Baht, which was my most costly hotel room in the last 4 years). Some rooms are directly above the bars, but I sleep around 1 or 2 am, so it doesn't bother me. However not recommended if you want to sleep early. No joiner fee, no ID check. vinapu 1 Quote
