Not all are doing it out poverty, lots are looking for relatively easy money, exactly like their Thai contemporaries. Instead of pouring coffee at Starbucks or standing at cash register at WalMart at 10$ / hr if that much turning tricks some may found more lucrative and less tedious. Dumb people think this is a dumb question. Intelligent people who think a bit deeper can see the merit of this question. Is a guy who feels being male but just cross dresses a ladyboy? Is a guy who is transgender and gets full surgery (including a vagina) a ladyboy? Or should he be considered a lady? You see such a 'dumb' question as it may appear to the less intelligent, is maybe not dumb at all, but highly interesting. Since most websites for foreigners are in English, I would be surprised if the typical moneyboys could read/write in English to attract customers regardless if the boy is gay or straight. And if the app is not in English it would be too difficult for the average farang customer. Personally I couldn't care less on the percentage of gay/str8 boys as I am not interested in 95% of the boys anyway. Quote
