Guest LoveThailand Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 LoveThailand: From street food to high end restaurants and everything in between - never had a bad meal there. I had very few bad meals, but that is out of thousands! My main complaint is tendons and bone splinters in Khao Pad Gai or Tom Kha Gai, inacceptable! I only visit so my sample is much smaller and perhaps I was lucky. Quote
vinapu Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 Convent Road - many palces there, including foodstalls. Vincent's in Soi Pumphlee Mango Tree - pricey but very good The come to my mind. typo - Vincent is in soi Dumphlee on the way from Rama Rd to Malaysia hotel, but I second - very good option and cute waiters. Madrid restaurant in Patpong has very good pizza ChristianPFC 1 Quote
Guest abang1961 Posted March 22, 2015 Posted March 22, 2015 You can't go wrong with hot pancakes and a cup of good coffee/tea. Street food is fine is your stomach can take it.. otherwise, avoid it. There are many tiny mom-and pop shops throughout the city and they do serve a decent meal. Try them. Quote
firecat69 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 who cares? lol If you had been a poster here longer you would realize Christian is quick to make fun of others when they spell a word wrong even though it might be there 2nd or 3rd language. anddy Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Spell check failed me again. hehehehehe But in this case I think Apple IOS just inserted the latest word I used starting out with the and I missed it. IOS excuse is false, because the last word starting with "th" you typed before "there" was "though" hahaha spell checker can't really catch mistakes like this, because both are actual correct words, this is a grammar error and I don't know how good spell checkers are at correcting grammar (if at all). ChristianPFC Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 who cares? lol Firecat is right, and I thank him for correcting me. I often confuse these three: unacceptable (English), inakzeptabel (German), inacceptable (French). Quote
