Yes but nobody knows who set it off. The protesters are diminishing but yes it could get worse.

Also one has now died from that cowardly attack.

That's shame, I wonder it this was politically motivated / red shirts / ? or just disgruntled troublemaker feed up with all havoc blockades are wrecking on businesses and daily lives.

Imagine say, anti-Obama protesters are blocking 42nd street on Manhattan between Grand Central and times Square for 2 months and how New York would react.

It must be say that Bangkokians are taking it extremely well so far.

Probably more appropriate to compare to Chris Christie rather then Obama at this point....

It is politically motivated. Although the protesters would like to blame it on the red shirts it is yet to be determined.

Many belive the granade attack was a set up from Suthep (the protest leader) in order to blame the red shirts (many who are police) as the guy that threw the granade led the army strait into a room where they found a bunch of copy weapons (bb guns etc) along with a red ball cap with a police insignia on it which if it was the protesters that had chased him into this room and found this, they would automatically think it was the Red Police and have retaliated against the police at the rally site which then would have brung in the Army and then they protesters might get their whish..........another Coup.
