Guest buckbee Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 There was a gay bar on Sukhumvit / Thonglor that moved. It just used its street number as its name - Club 581 or something like that. It was quite busy and had heaps of guys available. I've tried to search for it on the Internet but no success. Does anyone know this bar and have more details about it? Quote
pong Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 more details then please. About how long ago? BTW-Thonglor (which I always nickname as golden boy) is not soi 58 but 55. It used to have some gay palces, also sauna, but these have moved out (I guess rent was far too high for them) already several years ago. There also was for some years a very Thai place-that banned farang after a few monthes- in sois opporite it, name was like ''studio (nr##). TL does certainly have the name of being sometimes quite farang-unfriendly Hi_So Thai ''among ourselves'', and that of red Bull young brats riding hi on coke and smashing their new latest brand of Ferrari/racing car. Guest buckbee Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 Well actually it was about 8 years ago. I got on real well with the owner and I always had a great time there. It rarely had Falaung customers it was mainly take out or delivery for Thais. The signage was very discreet. I would like to visit there again if its still running next time I'm in Thailand. Initially it was on Sukhumvit near Pakanong I guess and then it moved to Thong Lor I think, somewhere. I actually found it on the Internet but cant find any reference to it now. Ah Studio something rings a bell now as you suggested above - did it have a number you can recall? Studio xxx? Quote

Has closed at least 4-5 yrs ago-moved to a location in suburban BKK-an off-off yaek of a LardPrao soi, I think then changed to massage on the spot and has closed-at least 1-2 yrs ago by now. I seem to recall it was run by an (ex) TG=THAI airline steward, for a while banning farang due to their impolite behaviour. So sorry-you have to find another shop. BTW: those places mainly aiming Thai via fone have by now nearly all turned to delivering massage straight away. Quote

They were never any farang there, just me. As you mentioned above and at the time it was all moving to take away where you just ring up, select a guy and they come to you. I remember he had a lot of clients that were government and army officials Quote
