Guest trailrider Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 This week a friend and I visited Klong Suan Market which is said to be over 100 years in operation. It is located about 20 miles out of Bangkok and requires a vehicle to get there. We went during the week and things were very quiet with many stalls not operating at full steam or at all but it was a good adventure anyway. The weekends are said to be very busy and things go very strong on Saturday and Sunday. One weekend I would like to return to see it in full swing. This article describes it fully: http://www.destinationthailand.tv/thail ... ts-bangkok Quote
vinapu Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Nice alternative to crowds at Chatuchak market, 20 km from Swampy look quite affordable by taxi for those without vehicle but like ChristianPFC will find public transport way of getting there Quote
