Guest letmetellu
THE SAFEST PLACE TO STAY If you have been looking for a wonderful Hotel right in the heart of Sunee Plaza you may not have noticed this previously run down Hotel Called "MARINA INN PLAZA" you know the one that was mistakenly previously bunning down..........but its far from burning, it has recently had multimillion Baht refurbishments with rooms for every pocket from 450 baht a night to wonderful suites. Next time you are thinking of a Gay budget Hotel with a Gay Boss, try this, also they own the most amazing KRAZY DRAGON. So give it a try you could not be safer and in the heart of all the action I have a friend who is a multi millionaire in the USA stays there for 10 months at a time and would not stay any where else, he say he just opens his curtains on tell the guys the room number, up they come no underage boys there if they look young. If you remember this previously run down Hotel mainly for short time before, your now be amazed at the difference, its not the beds that are hard here, its the customers. http://www.marinainnplaza.com/rooms.htm

Guest Expatriate Research
is it okay if I put up an animated avatar on my profile?
Guest Pearl69er
So many have written off the owner of the Krazy Dragon as about to bite the dust that I'm pleased to see he has pulled off this feat. Transforming that place must have cost a small fortune. My small business dealings with him showed he was a negotiator who is as tough as steel and behind a friendly manner lies a shrewd mind. Good luck to him. I bet the place is filled in no time.
fedssocr
I like the "champagne" airport transfer service. For 12,000 baht you get 2 escorts plus a bottle of champagne for your trip from the airport to the hotel. That sounds like one expensive party! But that big suite for 2500 baht looks very nice. I'll have to start taking the culutural tours.
Guest TruthTeller
The place was a dump last month. I doubt it has changed much since then other than LMTU's attempt at making it sound better than it is. Isn't this group the same one that owns Monty's pool? Perhaps they will remodel it as well. Not that I distrust newbie's but its not a dump it is 450 baht a night and you dont get 5 star for that, some rooms need attending to some nice, some very good all depends on what you can afford Im sure when you stayed you could only afford a cheap room, and you get what you pay for. Now MONTY'S B& B IS SOLD and his enchanted hut up for sale also at make him an offer and he will respond. HOWARD'S is not for every one dont run it down because it is not bad for the money or you can try PARADISE INN all rooms 450 baht Even Gaythailand would be impressed just asked the owner say LMTU want you to look at the rooms, Im sure you will not be able to stop jumping on the bed especially if you see the boyz on offer there lol
Guest namjai
"HOWARD'S is not for every one dont run it down because it is not bad for the money" Who was knocking Howard's? After years of staying at Cafe Royale I started to go to Howards for a change of venue and now have used it for my last four trips. Sure, not as fancy, but a hell of a lot more reasonable for my baht.
Guest Nabeel
Painful to try and read all LMTU writes. How about a couple of good english lessons or buy a spell checker. Go on LMTU, try it.

You think that's painful - just try to understand anything he says when he appears in his other guise as Ear wig, (although he seems to only use that name when he has been at the sauce all evening!) Guest TruthTeller
but its not a dump it is 450 baht a night and you dont get 5 star for that, It is a dump for 450 baht. I would be a dump for 1,000 baht and still a dump for 200 baht. What does the price have to do with the place being a dump?
Guest letmetellu
What does the price have to do with the place being a dump? If they dumped you into it I'm sure it would be a BIG DUMP then, well at least I have induced a flurry of Newbies, I wonder what names they were before we found out who they were, give us time. you an change your name, but not your writing style, flamers never change there spots. Try to stay in The Paradise Inn, 450 baht nightly Plus the newly refurbished Marina Inn Plaza from 450 baht nightly, also yes try Howard's nothing against it, but the hard beds, Pauya has cleaned out all the pushy lady boys now, replaced them with reasonable Manly boyz, so it may be easier to sit and have a nice drink watching the traffic go by, its good if you don't get one of the darker rooms, And now "MONTY' HAS SOLD His Bed and Breakfast" ,Well in December, so you don't get a breakfast thrown in at Howard's from 600 a night Literally.. but like most places you cna do a long stay deal with them, have fun and stop letting people Dump on you. As far as the "darker" rooms, am not sure what you are talking about. All of them have sufficient lighting. As far as the hard beds, again I don't know what you are talking about...but not the first time either!

Howards, as I said apart from these problems is a nice place to stay Howard's has a lift also and no breakfast, for 600 baht also try Monty's 500 baht with breakfast. even though he is not there he's sold it I am sure it will be similar unless they are crazy or have a better idea. Your right, yes you dont know what your talking about, funny post? free lancers are free lance yes, but the ladyboy free lacers were a night mare stealing is just one of there crimes. so they were told to go and replaced with manly guyz Darker rooms are just that dark rooms of course as you say you can put on the light but as day light is free why play for it. personally I prefer natural light. Yes you are right again not for the first time, Hard beds are hard beds just go and sit on one its hard, what is it about the work hard you dont understand to much viagra? Guest Pearl69er
Actually Truthteller--I've had many meetings and dealings with Peter of Krazy Dragon and you are correct about the hotel owning the pool but it comes with some extremely complicated leasing deals. As everyone knows the famous Monty held the lease for a long tiime but cetain lease conditions prevented him from making changes he wanted. More recently the Clubber people were going to take over the pool lease. If the hotel were able to retain the pool--and this being Thailand evreything is complicated--and re-furbished it they would be on a real winner. Guest CurlyEye
In the time frame that was lost b/c of the crash, I'd mentioned Sammy's Bar b/c it was said to be downstairs at the Marina Inn. Someone replied and said it is closed now. While I certainly believe them, it was surprising too because Sammy's still has a web site and as fas as web sites go pertaining to individual Sunee bars, it was as nice as any. http://www.sammysbar.com/

The FOR SALE sign is on the door with a phone number... Looks like you may be a BUYER :-) Surely with an internet address and website - you are already set to make the baht ... such a "turnkey" operation - waiting for CurlyEye :-) Enjoy your trip... TJ LOL, no thanks...the bar business aint for me. My ass may be dumb, but I aint no dumb ass. Besides I won't be there for 60 some days yet and it may have a new owner and be open again by then...then again maybe not. Just more or less found it amusing that a bar would shut down and still have a rather nice web site still going strong. Mr Sammy must have paid for that far in advance.
