Guest fountainhall Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 This is little surprise to some who live in or visit Pattaya. After years as a large table 'dancing' bar, Krazy Dragon was sold not all that long ago. The new owner, it seems, did not like the format or found it had ceased to draw in the customers. So he had consultations with his barboys and decided to remodel the inside to make it more of a cocktail-type bar. I don't reacall seeing any good reviews of the format, but then I do not live in Pattaya and have not visited since the changes. More changes were promised but now it's for sale at Bt. 2.25 million. That seems high to me, but again I am not up on bar prices so leave it for others to comment. http://www.krazy-dragon.com/ Quote
firecat69 Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Just another guy having no idea what he is doing buying a Bar. This bar had been going down hill before he bought it and he sent it to its grave. Now he is hoping to find a sucker to pay him more then he paid when there is nothing to buy. No customers, no boys, no business. But as PT Barnum said their is a sucker born every minute! williewillie 1 Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 Another PT Barnum saying seems equally as apt - “Unless a man enters upon the vocation intended for him by nature, and best suited to his peculiar genius, he cannot succeed.” But as for the sucker quote, the Huffington Post claims it was never actually said by Barnum. It was by a competitor. The fascinating story is told here - http://www.historybuff.com/library/refbarnum.html Quote
Guest Posted July 20, 2013 Posted July 20, 2013 I'm happy for other people to invest in gogo bars, so that I can continue to remain as a customer. In the unlikely event my personal wealth ever grew to about 100x it's current level, perhaps it would be nice to do a larger reincarnation of Euroboys. Purely as a hobby, in the same way oligarchs buy football clubs. As a business, it makes no sense. Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Seems from looking at other sites that Krazy Dragon's owner has finally given up on his attempt either to turn the bar into more of a host club or just plain sell it, and has reverted back to table dancing with the staff in shorts with long slits at the sides. Anyone had a drink there recently? Quote
