And a couple are particularly fruitful, the more so in finding younger guys who really do want to meet up with guys who are older - without cash being involved. I was deleting a whole bunch of messages from one site this morning when I came across this exchange which I found amusing - even though it was not intended to be. It took place around the time I was going to Singapore to see Kevin Spacey in "Richard III". This particular site enables you to insert a travel schedule. So this poster knew I was going to be in Singapore and wrote to me suggesting we meet up. hi..how are u..nice profile..i see u will be coming to singapore soon, if u interested to catch up..hit me upbest wishes For various reasons,I had no interest in him. He had no photo or profile, plus he was a good bit older than my stated preferred age range. So I wrote back as I normally do – Please note what I say in my profile -"I like having friends. But if you wish to chat with me, please let me see your face pic and a profile first. I will not respond without a face pic and profile. Thanks for understanding." Unfortunately, he took umbrage - Hi..i appreciate yur reply..i find you must be arrogant & self centred from the way u write...ive stated for pics..send me email if u are interested..as often when u attach pics, u dont get respond....im writing to u basically to start a chat to see if u are interested, if u reply, i will write more with pics, if u dont...thats the end of it.....learn to have manners, i got nothing to lose... i wish u good luck... I politely asked for a clear facepic and he became hostile and we exchanged a few messages similar to yours. I can generalize my experiences: No facepic: I usually don't answer, and if I answer I will ask for a facepic. No email, no link to other websites, just a facepic! Unclear facepic: After two disappointments this year, I rather skip these profiles. Quote
