NIrishGuy Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 So, I can only assume that there must be some hidden Thai that demands that Thai boys leave the shower head nozzle pointing right at where a farangs head might be as we reach in to turn the shower on - twice today already I have turned on the shower expecting to hear the water outpouring nicely into the bath only to get a face full of water !!! Perhaps it's because it's Songkran and they are making an early start !!? Lol Quote

Guest joe552 Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 I have to say, NIrish Guy, this isn't the most exciting first post from your trips that I've read. I hope you're having more fun than this would indicate. In fact, I'm sure you are and I look forward to reading all the gory details. Quote

baobao Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Your head's just in the way. The shower head needs to be positioned like that to fill the bathroom with 2 inches of water. I learned many years ago to simply reach up and move it to point away from me before I even turn the tap on. Works for me, anyway. The part that sometimes gets me is them positioning of the bath mat so it's completely saturated when I walk in, rendering it useless for it's intended purpose. If it is, I take my friend's towel and use that (assuming it isn't draped over a chair in the other room where they change) and just call housekeeping to ask for replacements. Quote
