27 Days and Nights in Thailand

I know I have been pretty quiet here but not a lot to report. I have been sticking close to my apartment except for 1 night in BoysTown where I took 2 boys home pictured below. They were a lot of fun if a little shy. I have Satellite TV so I have been able to watch March Madness which has played havoc with my sleep time.  Some boys are more willing for photos then others so I have posted what I have and will try to get more .  As you can see from the photos , Thai boys can look pretty young. No one in these photos is under 20  .   Thais tend to look very young because of facial structure and the fact , it is unusual to find Thais taller then 5'10"  and many are under 5'8"   

 

That is why in the GoGo Bars the ages can easily range from 18-35 but you would never guess the age of the older ones.  I had a regular in Bangkok for 2 years and never asked his age but I always assumed he was maybe 22-23.  Then one day I saw his advertisement on a Gay Match site and he had his age listed as 32. To this day I can't believe he was that old. O f course it helps that the normal diet here is much more healthy but unfortunately the Fast Food Craze from the West is becoming more prevalent.

Ok i'm going to jump in and ask a question here, great trip report....but are these boys ok with you posting their face pics on a forum?  Appreciate you've been coming to Thailand for a long time (as have I) but most of the Thai boys I knew before current BF would be way to shy to permit this.

Fair question.   I find a difference between GayRomeo boys who have their photos plastered all over the internet and on Grindr and Camfrog etc etc etc. anyways could care less.  Some of the boys are in porn and of course they are again all over the internet. Many boys do not want their photos taken and of course I never insist which is why I don't post that many photos compared to the boys I see.

 

Every boy I have posted a photo here has numerous photos on GayRomeo and other Gay sites to meet farangs , even the 2 boys from FunnyBoys so to be honest I don't feel the need to ask.  They have already made their decision. 

 

If I met someone in a Bar or Mall, restaurant etc and they allowed me to take photos, I would feel it is proper to ask for permission to post their photos.

Nudity in posts

 

Another question now that firecat69 has broken the ice, as it were. I always thought there was a taboo on frontal nudity on this Board. Yet, in looking through the Code of Conduct and the Terms & Conditions, I cannot find mention of that. A number of posters have suggested that tasteful frontal nudity should be permitted (or at least photos which include genitals). Can someone kindly enlighten us as to what is in fact permissible?

In other words, it now appears PMs are no longer private messages between two members. Can we also be enlightened on this, as it could have a major effect on what we had thought were private communications.

This is the exact same wording that has been used for all the years the site has been in operation. I know as I wrote it. It has always been the same and never changed. Private messages are private and not readable by mods or admins. However, if a subpoena came to the site for access to an account, I can't imagine how that would be denied. That said, it has never happened. The only thing I think would ever cause this is the posting of underage porn on the site which is not allowed. When that happens, the FBI often gets involved and asks for IP information from the offender. Also, this has never happened on this site.

Sorry, this seems my fault. In the past I have always looked at the Message Center policies. I think I have never even bothered to look at the Terms and Conditions! Now I know!

Sorry for no updates on my trip. I have had a particularly bad case of Montezuma's Revenge. No idea where it came from since no strange food and no new restaurants.  I have not felt like doing anything for a week. Fingers crossed ,I think it may have run its course.  Just glad it didn't happen closer to my departure , because the thought of being sick during 22 hours of flying does not interest me.

 

I am sure Low Season has definitely set in by the number of texts and messages on GayRomeo I have been getting. Of course end of month also and room rents are do.

 

I will do my best to help the poor boys out my last 6 days(heheh) , but I will probably be staying close to my room and won't have a lot to report.  I get out before Songkarn which was always the plan. I don't mind the water festival in Bangkok where it lasts for a couple of days . But I hate it in Pattaya where it goes on forever and it seems there are more drunken foreigners to deal with who show little respect for anything.

 

Anyways for those of you who love it , I wish you a very Happy Songkarn!!

Just a quick update on my return visit to BoysTown tonight and then tomorrow I will finish up with a lot more photos. I leave for the USA Tuesday at 6am.

 

This is the week before the Songran (water) Festival.  Many boys go home to their villages for 2 weeks so I expected it to be quite slow in comparison to my first visit.  Stopped at FunnyBoys first and they still had about 40 boys but very few customers. Then on to ToyBoys which had about 1/2 the number of boys as before . Maybe 22-24 but still a very good selection including the photo below which will appeal to those of you who like a little muscle.  These two are great fun and fully versatile.  This bar just never disappoints !

 

I will finish up tomorrow with some photos of the Gay Beach and the area know as Jomtien along with photos of most of the boys I saw the last week after finally getting over my bad case of Montezuma's Revenge.

Yeah, i read it a couple of times.  There's a huge contradiction here. 

 

One post says that PMs are not private and may be read, whilst the other says they are "not readable."

 

Are they able to be read, or is it impossible for the owner/administrator to get into the PMs and see what is being written?

 

I understand the FBI would probably have the technology to be able to get into anything they wanted to.

What is the problem here other then this thread has been hijacked for this discussion of private messages. There are no such things as privacy on the internet. The operators of a site have to have the ability to provide law enforcement with anything they ask for.

 

Your emails are not private should yahoo or google or any other email provider deign to provide that information.  So yes everything you write or post on the internet in any forum etc has to be made available should law enforcement ask for it. And all operators have to have the ability to provide it.

 

That is completely different from any moderators etc having access to certain information. 

 

I suggest if anyone wants to continue this discussion, start a new thread!

OK  time to get this thread back on topic which from my perspective is about Boys, Bars , Beach etc and anywhere boys can be found.

 

I took a ride out to Jomtien Beach which is about 2Km. from where I am staying on Pattaya Beach .  This is a 6km stretch of beach that is much wider then some photos I posted earlier in this thread.  Part of this 6km stretch has a predominately Gay Area  and many visitors love to rent a chair and spend the day looking at boys etc. You can get a massage in your chair or move to a blanket for a full massage(no happy ending) most of the time. You can get a manicure and a pedicure and order food and drinks while you pass the time.  There will be vendors trying to sell you anything you can imagine from watches, perfume, x rated dvd's and regular dvd's . Depending on the day and the time of year hopefully there will be some boys who would love to have you buy them a beer and then go to your Hotel  Up to You but be careful of you valuables if you decide to take one of these boys to your room.  You can get there from Central Pattaya on baht buses I mentioned earlier for 20 baht (65cents USA)  or on motorbike taxi for 80 -100 baht.

 

The photos at the bottom of the beach were taken at the end of the day when most people had left and the chairs were being gathered up.

 

When you leave the beach there is sort of a Village of bars, massage parlors , restaurants etc all of which cater to the Gay Customer. No GoGo Bars are allowed in Jomtien but Beer Bars with boys and massage parlors are ok. There are also some very good restaurants of any type you can imagine and the prices are usually quite reasonable.

 

Later in the day I returned to my Condo and visited BoysTown as mentioned earlier and I have included some photos of the area .  There is also a photo of Orleans Restaurant which has a New Orleans vibe and excellent ribs (yumm)  There are many more bars then then the few I have mentioned and you never know what Diamonds in the rough could await you . Sometimes you just go into a Bar with only 6 dancers and you see Mr Wonderful there .  When you have been as many times as I have, you have your favorites but if you were a first time visitor then stop in at many.

 

I have included photos of most of the boys I have seen in the last 8 days since recovering from my sickness. All of the photos are boys who advertise on Gay Romeo and have many photos on the site and in all but one case they all work in GoGo Bars also.  

 

In Pattaya all you have to do is smile at a boy in the Mall or a restaurant and there is a good chance he will end up in your bed. Naturally he most likely will require a small gift for that visit but not always. Sometimes they are just Horny to have Sex with a Non Thai.  

 

Amazing Thailand!!.  If you have never been , you have to visit someday. You will find nice Hotels and restaurants at a fraction of the cost in Europe, USA, Brazil etc. and the money for the boys is as small an amount of most places in the world.

 

Yes for many of you it will be a long plane ride but I guarantee when you are on the plane going home , all you will be thinking about is how soon you can return!!

Sorry firecat69. I haven't been to Manila for at least 15 years. I'll never forget the last time I took a boy from one of the bars. When he took his sneakers off in my hotel room, the smell was overpowering. I threw the bedcover over them to try and get rid of it, but it was only partly effective. The sex was perfunctory - maybe because I was desperate to get him out of the room!

 

I hope it's not being racist, but whilst there is much I love about The Philippines, I just can't stand the accent for very long. That, plus the fact that most guys have been quite badly circumcised, has put me off returning. A badly circumcised penis is a big turn-off for me.

Fountainhall reminded me of a Thai guy that I liked but his feet and shoes stunk like a skunk.  He would leave his shoes outside my room door and would scrub his feet in the shower.  I really liked him and bought foot deodorants and new shoes for him.  The guy told me his roommates also had a big problem with his foot odor.
