TotallyOz Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 For over forty years, the Rose hotel Bangkok has been one of the best-kept secret addresses of the city. We believe in being small yet beautiful. Our boutique facilities offer prime privacy and perfect position within its intimate size amidst the urban setting. The hotel’s mid-century-designed building houses stylish rooms and suites. All are refurbished in contemporary Asian style and filled with contemporary artworks. The swimming pool and Ruen Urai Fine Thai Cuisine, our signature restaurant, are hidden in the petit urban oasis in the back. Moreover, we have Rose Hip Dining Space and Bar, meeting and conference rooms, a gym, and saunas for guests’ recreation and relaxation. http://rosehotelbkk.com/index.php The Rose Hotel Bangkok 118 Surawongse Road, Bangrak Bangkok 10500 Thailand Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 When commercial establishments are listed, I think it's important that there is some disclaimer included to the effect that the description and photos are supplied by the establishments - not by gaythailand.com. The Rose Hotel is not much more than a 3 star hotel but from the above it looks as though it is at least 4 - 4.5. For readers' interest, you might wish to add the link to this thread - http://www.gaythailand.com/forums/topic/8436-the-rose/ One very positive point I'd like to reiterate is that the hotel's small Ruen Urai restaurant is lovely and has excellent cuisine in a special Thai ambience. It is a Thai house situated by the pool but separate from the hotel building. I have enjoyed many enjoyable dinners there. Quote
