TotallyOz Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I am at a convention in Las Vegas this week and it is filled with interesting and fascinating people. Today, we have a speed networking seminar. In it, you have your business cards and you meet about 50 people and you have 2 min with each of them to discuss business. It is a great concept IMHO. But I had at least 15 of them ask me about Thailand and tell me how much they love it or how much they can't wait to visit. Each of them were so complimentary of the LOS and the people there. Every where I go, it seems to be the same. EVERYONE loves Thailand! Quote
Guest thaiworthy Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Great way to start the year! I have no idea what it says on your business card, you don't talk much about your activities outside of Thailand. Not surprising people have good things to say. You are in the right place for meeting the right people with positive things to say about most places, ie., what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. What happens in Thailand, stays in Thailand, too-- maybe. But shhh! I certainly would never tell what you do here. Just don't gamble and it will remain a very productive trip. But don't linger too long. Only 199 more travel days in the year. Better hurry! January is already half-finished. Quote
firecat69 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 You don't have to be quiet. Michael is just a boring married man when he is in Thailand. Well at least most of the time! TotallyOz 1 Quote

KhorTose Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I am not surprised that they all want to talk about Thailand, as what else can you talk about when a business card lists your occupation as hedonist. TotallyOz and kokopelli 2 Quote
