as you deem relevent .. you see you dont stop doing it ..

i agree with you a few posts are just cross-sword .. but if im accused of being someone im not .. should i just say .. ok im who you think i am, to keep the peace ??

do you really think if we are all nice and loving to each on this board , we will get world peace ?

your way of doing things would mean no conversing between members, just reports,

mybe you should do a poll to see what people want from the board ... do we converse or not .

my belief is boards need discussion and the odd joke to thrive,

your reply to my previous post is one i would imagine you would call as being nothing worthy ? therefore i wonder if you will reply to this one, with another nothing post ?

justout of intrest, obama's CHANGE i cant say ive noticed much difference,

other than the fact they are deeper in the brown stuff than they where 5 years ago !!

For what it's worth timmberty, personally I haven't thought for a moment that you were Hey Gay/LMTU. For one thing, you don't use nearly enough redundant question marks! (actually none have been redundant that I've noticed). And for another, while the writing style of your posts is somewhat "type as you speak" (as you said yourself), to me they make sense in a stream-of-consciousness sorta way. Nothing wrong with that I guess; it's just a little hard to follow as abang pointed out.

I also have to say that I don't think it helps matters at all for you to ask abang what name he used to post under. It only takes a few such insinuations before a whole bunch of posters start acquiring some sort of cyber-paranoia - who is really who? Fortunately I am immune to such paranoia because I have seen The Thing. ;)

I often agree with your comments, and just as often don't. But that's equally true for any other member of the board.

There - that was not really on-topic, but at least in defence of those of us who have a low post count.

As for the rest of the topic, it's all Greek to me!

:)

Edit: I also want to point out to abang that I don't think his accusations about timmberty being LMTU were justified, either. Some posters are known to have duplicate identities and don't deny it themselves (that quick photographer who likes the seaside, for one), but in the absence of any solid reasoning to the contrary, lets just take members for who they claim to be, eh?

how hardcanitbe to followmyposts for godsake??

are youall abitsimple orwhat?

An alternative approach might just be to put some effort into the capitalisation etc & write posts that encourage others to read them.

I got bored with reading unstructured posts from one former member & have not regained the apetite for it.

I know where it is. You do have some interesting things to say. I wouldn't think you'd want everyone to use the ignore button, would you?

Surely not?

Well just in case that is the objective:

1 Click on your own user name in the top right corner, just above the forum.

2 Click My Settings

3 Click Ignore Preferences.

4 Type in the username of the person you want to block.

5 Tick all 3 boxes.

6 Save Changes.

Here's the result:

Do you have a beard Timmberty? Do you mumble into it?

Other times you seem quite excitable - in type - are you the sort of person flinging his hands and arms up in the air and waving them around?

Hawking communicates via a machine to convert his thoughts into speech, maybe you could consider a . . . well you get my drift . . .
