Dirty mind?

 

On oneof my trips to Paris I came across this sculpture. Is it only me, or do you too have some dirty sexual associations?

Dirty? sexual? Well not sure about sexual but dirty yes, the scultpure's on a patch of grass that can't be all that clean, no doubt the local dogs make a beeline for it . . .

 

My theory is it's some kind of Earth Mother thing, spewing out her offspring as they gravitate towards the outstretched arms of what could be construed as freedom. Freedom from the all-encompassing and stifling constraints of the Earth Mother.

 

It might be a sexual process, but it certainly isn't sensual.
