You can only find those products at the Beach!

Holy shit. Do you guys have to derail all my threads? I realize you have an agenda but to do it over and over is rude and childish!

Not to worry. Most likely you will be the only one responding to his posts.

The thing is, if you combine the warmth and charm of the Thais with a good level of intelligence, professional training and solid procedures, you can really deliver something great. Easier said than done though...

How can you possibly square that with the content of your earlier post?

Hey Michael... It's times like this you realise how much we take for granted the high standard of schooling and education we get in most Western nations. There's a certain level of intelligence, foresight, initiative and awareness which is completely missing from lots of service staff coming out of countries like Thailand, China, India etc.

If you think dealing with monkeys like this is frustrating, try employing and managing them!

You insult the people of this country by happily comparing a million plus of them as being worse than dealing with monkeys!   :growl:

You might try telling that to some of the Thai guys who so surprisingly seem to like you. Perhaps you might find yourself a great deal less popular!

I found Thai guys totally charming, friendly and so approachable, not to mention pretty good looking. For some reason, I am really popular with Thai guys. So I had a lot of fun there and with a lot of Thais I met in my home city  and occasionally in other cities too.

Careful Mr Bea   Snapshot. You are on dangerous ground!

Michael, your 'IQ' topic was hot for a while - got 13 replies - but was more or less finished by 10 Dec. Since then it has been re-activated once by Christian - fair enough as he's a genuine poster and does a lot of travelling so he can't always follow a topic that closely - but twice it had been kickstarted by khun Snapshot. This is the nature of the beast I am afraid, that he may be lurking around every corner, of course he isn't, but when he roars into life he needs taming.

Snapshot. You are on dangerous ground!

Reminds me of those pits hunters used to dig so as to catch wild animals who'd fall into one and be speared.

This is my rant for the day...[snip!]

Oh Michael - you really should read some of Stickman's website - really just a blog with advertising, but I think quite illuminating (though not always entirely accurate).

TiT!

Sorry, I'm not a resident and only ever a tourist in Thailand but I've quickly learned just to shrug my shoulders and move on in situations like this...

;)

I remember this conversation I had with my ex-boyfriend...[snip!]

You've got to be f***ing kidding me!

No problem. I understand when someone gets obsessed. I think you must have the hots for Snapshot. Was it love at first bite?

Hot under the collar, more like! When one poster refers to Thais as monkeys. then that heat can quickly and rightfully turn into anger. No one has a right to post a comment like that on a Board like this! The only other poster to have made that sort of sweeping, insensitive and downright pathetic comment on this Board in recent years has been Beachlover who was banned from further posting in December 2010.

Odd, isn't it, how Snapshot and Beachlover are almost the only ones to refer to Thailand as a den of prostitution for aging foreigners? Readers of this and several other Boards well remember that constant theme recurring in Beachlover posts of old. And only the other day he Snapshot does precisely that here –

snapshot on 31 December 2012 - 08:37 AM, said

this whole Thailand gay prostitution for foreigners

Old habits clearly die hard.

Certain things are very clear to quite a number of readers and posters - but, for reasons unknown, not to others!

Hahaha! I like it. I'm almost tempted to change my forum name to 'Scrawny Sheep'!

That would be a good conversation starter  :)

Cheers,

I would not call it "bullying". But it is unquestionably "teasing".

So, um, sorry Michael, but wasn't your original comment about members not teasing certain posters?

That would be anyone but Jomtien. He knows nothing and tells all.
