Best Kiss Contest

Compared to the others here it looked less tasteful and more like pornography, even though it was "G" rated.

No problem for me.

There is a problem with copyright and the agreement of the photographee for publishing. (Did I just make up a new word? invitee - the person invited, murderee - the person murdered, photgraphee - the person photographed.)

I just came across an album on facebook http://www.facebook....b/photos_stream that contains some pictures that fit the subject. And the fact that they are on facebook viewable for everyone means that the person who published it there took care of agreement of the photographee for publishing and copyright.

WOW! Fountainhall, as far as I am concerned, your picture above blows away all the others, despite Kokopelli as a close second place. I say this based on personal opinion. This photo is artistic, genuine, breathlessly intoxicating, modestly seductive, beautifully hypnotic and exquisitely-framed. I hope you win the Grand Prize. I hope everyone likes this picture. Thank you for this entry. Good luck! :o

Thanks Khun TW. It was fun getting the guys to pose for it! ;):D

But it's still not a full-out smooch on the lips. I like the way the guys are looking at the camera, as if to say: "Ok, we've gone his far. What do you want us to do now?" Rhetorical question, as far as I am concerned! :p

]A special kiss entry for Kuhn Worthy.

Is that Santa Clause in the picture, Koko? Where's his red cap?

Yes, I am lusting over that picture, Khun Koko. but Fountain's picture in post #32 still beats it by .00000000000000000001 of a point. Sorry, better luck with the next one.

But it was meant as a compliment, Khun Koko! No need to call upon the Angel of Death to taunt me! I see you liked your own entry, so you must be awfully pleased with yourself. i should have asked the moderators to admonish you with a warning point. For shame! However, I have liked it too, so maybe I have vindicated myself somewhat in your eyes. Talk about two entries that go from hot to cold! Yikes! (Kiss of Life to Kiss of Death). How ominous is that?!

Hey Michael, how about a kiss between your two favorite boyfriends? (a sloppy, naughty one, not a peck on the cheek). You've posted their pictures before on a favorite hamburger thread some while back.

I am sure it will generate some interest and likes. I DARE YOU! 5555! :p:lol:

Another Kiss-of-Life

A rather neat photo but I'm wondering if you know the story behind it at all. Is this just an amorous event or, as I fear, is it a worker attempting to resuscitate a co-worker who has stopped breathing due to an electrical shock or whatever?

Rocco Morabito won the 1968 Pulitzer Prize for Spot Photography for this photograph – “The Kiss of Life.”

Apprentice lineman J.D. Thompson is breathing life into the mouth of another apprentice lineman, Randall G. Champion, who hangs unconscious after receiving a jolt of high voltage.

Morabito was driving on West 26th Street in July 1967 on another assignment when he saw Champion dangling from the pole. He called an ambulance and grabbed his camera.

Champion recovered.

In 2000, Rocco Morabito, at the age of 79, said, ”I get requests all the time from people who teach mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and have proof that it works. I am proud of that.”

In the world of cinema, this must go down not only as the first 'real' gay smooch kiss but one of the most passionate on screen. From "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" made 41 years ago.

Thanks, Khun FH. The real life story is similar to what I was imagining, hoping for, and fearing.
