TotallyOz Posted October 28, 2012 Posted October 28, 2012 Salt and Pepper has been open most of the week. They did close for Saturday and Sunday this week but will reopen on Monday. The owners are great people and they did suffer a tragedy and trying to cope with that the best they can. They are amazing people who run a great place. Quote

If anything the food is even better then my last visit and the prices are very reasonable. Going there is like going home! Quote

The Thai lady that runs the place is fantastic lady and her family is important to her. Her sister and 2 nieces were in a car accident and all 3 died. A truck driver ran over the line and killed all 3. It was very traumatic for the family. Quote

TotallyOz Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 The food is great tasting, consistently good and very reasonable. It is an open air restaurant and frequented by a great many locals. It is the place to go when you know you will get good food and NOT get ripped off. It is my favorite place to eat in Thailand and I go there every day but I have 2 guys that live with me and they love it as well so it just makes life so easy for me. Quote

The restaurant was, is and will always be a family business with, yes indeed, the very friendly Thai lady and her husband, Zaheer from Pakistan. Will soon go down there!! Quote
