firecat69 Posted November 2, 2012 Posted November 2, 2012 Forgot to post this photo taken from the Platform of BTS at Ratchadamari. Race track and playing golf right in the middle of the business district. Gotta love it! Quote
TotallyOz Posted November 4, 2012 Author Posted November 4, 2012 I grew up fishing in the Tennessee and the Mississippi River. I love Cat Fish more than just about any food on earth. I also enjoy fishing a bit in Thailand. The boys and I have taken a boat out to the sea several times to go fishing and always enjoy it. It is not quite the same as sitting on a boat with my Papaw in his overalls and chewing tobacco and chatting about where to throw my line. But, when I get to fish in Thailand, even for a short period of time, I always think back to my time with family and reeling in that big ole catfish and having my mom cook it up in a big back iron pot. dapitt 1 Quote
TotallyOz Posted November 5, 2012 Author Posted November 5, 2012 One of the things I love about Thailand is its beauty. There are luscious greens everywhere, beautiful blue skies, golden temples at every corner and vivid orchids and flowers. I love the color of the flowers that are everywhere. So much so, when I first would visit the country, I would go into a flower shop and order 10 or 20 baskets of flowers to be delivered to my hotel so I could smell them 24/7. When I had a house rental by the ocean a few years back, I redecorated the entire garden with some of the most beautiful flowers I had ever seen. Well, I have been here on and off for 10 years now and I still am in awe with the flowers that are always growing. I also love to go to the garden centers to view the new Orchids. Thailand is amazing to me for so many reasons, but I never leave out my love for their flowers. Quote
TotallyOz Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 Being surrounded by the ocean, I love to see the activities in the area. There are jet skis, para-sailing boats and people swimming all around. Pattaya and Jomtien are a bevy of water activities during the day. We saw this boat today and thought it was pretty cool. Quote
TotallyOz Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 There are so many things to see and do in Thailand and I often think I have seen them all. But, I am often amazed when I find something so close that I have not been to before or even heard much about. Today was one of those days. The Nong Nooch Garden is one of these places. It is a short distance from Pattaya. It is a beautiful garden with some wild animals and tons of gardens and things to do. It also has a place for lunch that is OK as well. http://www.nongnoochgarden.com/ Quote
TotallyOz Posted November 9, 2012 Author Posted November 9, 2012 One of the things you see all the time in Thailand is......sex. jk. I meant animals. There are tons of animals all over the place here. We caught this pair at the animal section of Nong Nooch. Quote

TotallyOz Posted November 10, 2012 Author Posted November 10, 2012 The BF and I love playing chess. We try to play a bit each night as our balcony has a nice view of Pattaya Bay. We are pretty evenly matched and it is a very restful thing for us. Quote
TotallyOz Posted November 13, 2012 Author Posted November 13, 2012 Mini Siam is an amusement park (tourist trap) outside of Pattaya. Here they have small replicas of many major world attractions. Quote
TotallyOz Posted November 14, 2012 Author Posted November 14, 2012 I am a very affectionate person and I am not embarrassed to show my affection to the BF in public. Here we are at the tiger farm today. I am giving him a big smooch! Quote

Rogie Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 . . . or do I have a dirty mind? No, you have a first-class mind khun Koko. 'Dirty' minds are only a problem if that person has a one-track mind, which you certainly do not have as you tantalise us baffle us and intrigue us at your many quizzes. Quite a battle of the wits sometimes. Quote
TotallyOz Posted November 19, 2012 Author Posted November 19, 2012 I love the lights around Pattaya. Here is the sign from one of the best bars in Pattaya! Quote

Guest travelerjim Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 hehe. Yes, I do. I use to have one. It is a bread slicer! Love it. Sadly, the bread slicer was one of 46 items left behind for this trip to Thailand. Paying another $150 each extra for the fifth and sixth luggage bags for Michael just proved too much So went the bread slicer...now when he needs one tj Quote
