Guest EdASD Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Hi! I am planning a trip to Pattaya and esp. Jomtien, question is where to find a nice room/condo? Does any of you members here can give me an advise where to go or where NOT to go? Any tips/links/sites would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance, EdASD Quote
Guest HeyGay Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Of course that’s easy to tell you where to stay, Lots of fabulos places. all to do with how much a night you want to spend? Your be spoilt for choice of Gay Hotels around jomtien? From 700 baht a night up to the skys the limit, but here is where I know your wont be Disappointed? From the very nice Claudio’s Rooms to Gannymead for Budget rooms. See Gannymead rooms first, some are very basic. http://www.claudioresidencejomtien.com/home.htm http://www.theganymede.com/contact.html Then you have where a friend of mine who stays there all the time and says it’s the best from 999 baht a night the all New VENUE HOTEL and RESORT. With Poo lhttp://www.thevenuejomtien.com/ Or try Orchid Guest House everyone loves that?http://www.orchid-guesthouse-pattaya.com/ Then you can spend a bit more, for fabulous rooms and suites, Poseidon Guest House. With Spa pool Try EAST Suites, above the very nice TAPAS restaurant great rooms 4 star? Or Sansuk Guest House, very nice rooms and Gay Sauna thrown in, sex and sleep what more can you want? http://www.sansukpattaya.com/guesthouse.phphttp:// www.poseidon-pattaya.com/http://www.east-suites.com/ Then we have the best places to stay if you can afford them . No.1 View Taly Bungalow wonderful Villas with your own private swimming pool from 4000 baht a night.http://www.villarent...ailand/jomtien/ so many google them? Guest Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Are you sure you want to stay in Jomtien, rather than South Pattaya? Obviously Jomtien is near the the beach & has a small selection of gay bars. Most gay bars & all of the gogos are mostly in South Pattaya, including Boyztown & Sunnee areas. Quote
Guest thaiworthy Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Then you have where a friend of mine who stays there all the time and says it’s the best from 999 baht a night the all New VENUE HOTEL and RESORT. With Poo Maybe they need to fix the toilet. ---------------- I stayed at Jomtien Beach Residence for two weeks and found it very accommodating. They are directly across from the beach and you can catch the baht bus 1 block away. Nearby is an excellent restaurant called Rich Man, Poor Man. I really like their food, mostly farang fare. If you decide on Jomtien Beach Residence, ask for Alan Ottesen. He speaks Thai and perfect English. I cannot recommend this place more highly if you want to stay in Jomtien. http://www.jomtienbe...com/booking.php Quote
KhorTose Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 How come no one mentions the great hotel I stay in when I visit Pattaya? I am talking about the very clean and comfortable Poseidon nicely located in the Jomtien complex, We did stay at the Rabbit Resort once, but it is quite a walk to catch a red bus and not a good walk at night. Their shuttle is not always there. Quote
dapitt Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Try EAST Suites, above the very nice TAPAS restaurant great rooms 4 star? Boyfriend and I stayed at East Suites for a week this past summer. This was our second visit, and we are likely to return there on future visits. Very nice accomodations and quality restaurant. http://www.east-suites.com/ TotallyOz 1 Quote
Guest EdASD Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Wow! Thank you guys for posting so many answers, I just became a member yesterday and so cool you are all here I do want to thank you for all options mentioned, but fact is I checked them all already, since I will be staying 2 months a hotel is not realy an option (too many people and too small rooms) so I am looking for a room/condo outside the big hotels. Maybe I should rephrase my question and say "I am looking for a room/condo outside the big well known places". Again if anyone has a suggestion I gladly hear it Thanks in advance! Quote
TotallyOz Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 My friends use this group over and over and praise it for great quality and great service. They use for View Talay 6 but they also have the Jomtien groups there. http://dancewatchers.com/ Quote
Guest anonone Posted October 18, 2012 Posted October 18, 2012 Quick question for anyone that has stayed at Ganymede: What would you suggest for room type? I cannot make sense of their website when it comes to selecting a room. 3 different "wings" with multiple room types, but no real description of the rooms or differences between them. Am I just missing something? Quote
