Office Furniture in Pattaya

I sit on my ass for long periods of time and I want a really nice office chair. I want something large and lots of padding. What places in Pattaya do you think would have the best selection for me?

You need a Herman Miller Chair. I also spend a lot of time at my desk and found my old padded leather 'executive' chair (made in Thailand and Thai price!) was not giving me nearly enough back support. So I finally invested in a Herman Miller Aeron chair. It has a sort of mesh seat and back which moulds to your body, and every part of it moves so you can work out the best position for you. I especially like the lower back support and feel that my posture has improved since starting to use it.

The material-covered Embody with head rest seems to get great reviews. This brand is expensive - but worth every penny if you have to sit and work for long periods. I don't know about Pattaya, but in Bangkok there is a supplier on Wireless Road in the Nai Lert Office Tower by the Swissotel Nai Lert Park hotel.

Michael,

Look at the chairs at HomeWorks store...South Pattaya...

next to BIG C ...Sukhumvit/So Pattaya Rd.

While there...OFFICE DEPOT has a store next door to HW.

FH, thanks but that is out of my budget for a chair. :) It looks lovely for sure. My ass needs to be pampered but I was thinking closer to 15,000 baht max. :)

TJ, thanks. I'll check both out later in the week.

Index on Sukhumvit also has a selection of office furniture including office chairs - prices vary, the better chairs are around 10,000 Baht. There is also another place next to Big C South -- it is adjacent to the parking area in the same row of businesses as the Office Depot store. Several choices with prices generally 7,000 Baht to 20,000 Baht (I bought a chair a few weeks ago - it was on sale for 50% off because they were trying to move inventory as they were closing for remodeling) - I don't know if they have reopened or are still remodeling.
