Guest fountainhall Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Here's a site that was new to me - www.taxifarefinder.com. It gives estimated taxi fares, shortest routes and a host of other information for some cities around the world. Whilst America is very well represented, presently there are just 14 of the top European cities. Australasia also has only 14 cities - like Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Sydney, Auckland and Singapore. Bangkok, Osaka, Seoul, Taipei and other cities are not. Hopefully they will be added soon. I have checked a number of routes in London and Hong Kong. Both routes and fares seem pretty accurate. Quote
ChristianPFC Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 Most Bangkok taxis have an information sheet hanging from the headrest of the front seat with distance - price (I think from 1 km to 100 km) and fares to locations all over Thailand. There must be a copy of that somewhere in the internet. Quote
