TotallyOz Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Z909 said in another thread that there is no ignore feature on Gay Thailand. That is not the case. Instead of giving a detailed response in that thread and it gets lost, I thought I would start a new one to make it easy for all to search. You can Ignore anyone. To do this, go to the top of this screen and see you name and click on it. Hold down the mouse button and a drop down button comes up. This is right beneath the VS Media boys and it has a Message Icon, Notifications Icon, your Name and Log Out. It is the first section of the Forums beneath the photos. When you get to that drop down, hit the button called: Manage Ignore Preferences. That takes you to a page. Type in the person you wish to Ignore and decide what you want to Ignore: Posts, Messages, Phone Calls, etc. (jk about the phone calls). Submit it and it is done. That is a brief history of the ignore feature on Invision. I hope this helps. Quote
Guest thaiworthy Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I think we should go one step further. In lieu of a "fuck-off" button, we should have a button that says "thaiworthy wishes he had ignored this post," the opposite of a "like" button, but certainly much kinder than a "fuck-off" or "go-to-hell" button. Guest Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Well, I have the rare privilege of a minus against my profile, so presumably someone must have found the "sod off" button, or whatever it is. Quote
Rogie Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Hey, that's new isn't it? If you put your cursor over a member's screen name (top left hand corner of each post) you will see either a red rectangular box or a green one. In z909's case it is red and minus 1. That seems a bit unfair, what has he done to warrant that, expecially as some posters are in double digits in the green box? I have a modest 'score' of 6 but at least whatever it is is green! I have no idea what all this means. Quote
kokopelli Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Maybe the red strike occurs when someone first "likes" you and afterwards "unlikes" you? The "unlike" feature seems to be available only after you "like" someone?? I hit like you Rogie and then hit the unlike. Not sure the results but that was only a test. Quote
TotallyOz Posted September 19, 2012 Author Posted September 19, 2012 I now see Z909 with 0 and not negative 1. I liked his post. But, I think it was red because a few years back I tried this feature with member positives and negatives. It only lasted a few days and was a mess! So, we did away with it. I would think that that red -1 was from years ago and now that I liked his post it is gone. The "like" system is now in this version as you can now like a post and not a person. Back years ago it was the person and not the post. I think Z must have had someone that gave him a negative mark and now he is back to zero. But, lets get him up high and everyone like his posts so he gets some positive feedback. Quote
