Guest fountainhall Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 That’s how a UK judge has described Samsung’s Galaxy 10 Tab when he denied Apple’s case which alleged that Samsung’s product had infringed the design of Apple’s iPad. "They do not have the same understated and extreme simplicity which is possessed by the Apple design," said Judge Birss. "They are not as cool," he said. "The overall impression produced is different." The ruling by Judge Birss means Apple cannot block sales of the Galaxy Tab in the UK on the grounds that it too closely resembles the iPad. http://www.bbc.com/n...nology-18773690 I am sure Samsung was pleased with the verdict, but less so with the description of their product, the more so when “not cool” will likely appear whenever someone googles the Samsung Tab! KhorTose Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 My note is super cool, but then what can you say about a country (UK) that has all of its own industries taken over by foreigners, who seem to know better then the natives, what people really want, and what is cool. Especially when they eat things like bangers, beans and tomatoes for breakfast, UCK!. For those obtuse out there this is meant to be humorous. Quote
