Guest Motel69 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I usually go to Cutey and Beauty, in Bangkok, where they do a great job ripping the old-growth forest off my body. But I don't know of any similar place in Pattaya. Any suggestions? Thanks for your indulgence. Quote
Bob Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I have no interest whatsoever (something about an aversion to voluntary pain) but, simply out of curiosity, what's it cost to have somebody wax your chest and back waxed? Quote

I think it is about the same cost as waxing your ass and balls although more painful. Quote
Guest Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I think it is about the same cost as waxing your ass and balls although more painful. What cost would that be?I imagine having balls waxed is the most painful, but have no intention of trying that little experiment. I don't rule out leg waxing, but have never got as far as trying it so far. Quote
Guest topjohn5 Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 A couple of years ago I used a lady in the basement of Tucom...I don't know if she is still there or not.... Quote

I don't rule out leg waxing, but have never got as far as trying it so far. I've had several times EVRYTHING waxed off except my head.... I can tell you that waxing your balls is not the most painful as long as they use a hard wax. The most painful is the upper chest near the neck for me anyway. I regularly wax myself now with hard wax from the USA... "There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum — it's breathtaking ... I suggest you try it." (Austin Powers...Dr. Evil, lol) Quote
Guest bottomdad Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Try Sitalanna, just behind Tuk Com in the Soi on the right as you face Tuk Com from Pattaya Tai. They do body waxing. Quote
Bob Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I think it is about the same cost as waxing your ass and balls although more painful. Yikes, never thought of that one. No thanks, I'd rather eat glass. My guess is there's some kind of symbiotic relationship between waxing and leather, whips, and chains..... My god, come to think of it, where does the proprietor buy truckloads of wax? So....for those who've had a good waxing, what's the cost? Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I learn so much from TV programmes and movies. I'd never heard of waxing until the term "bikini wax" was used in several. But I never considered how they did it. I even imagined it was basically duct tape strategically placed with a large glass of gin provided to dull the pain as it was zipped off. I suppose the problem with duct tape on one's chest is it might also whip off your nipples! Ouch! Quote

But here is a useful link. http://rjcamberley.bestmalediaries.com/2011/02/removing-pubic-hair/ Quote
Bob Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Ha Ha. I just made up that comment. I have no idea of the costs involved or where to go. But here is a useful link. Lol. Well, actually went and took a look. And far down on the right was a photo of an apparently new, permanent, and likely painful method of removing public hair. Here it is: Quote
lexusgs Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Motel69 I always use the spa in the Amari Orchid Hotel on Beach Road in Pattaya. It's based in the tower wing. The therapists are well trained, great surroundings and cost is ok. Around 1200 bht and it's a thorough job. Take about an hour. Hope that helps Quote
Guest anonone Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 For those that have not had the pleasure of having hair removal by wax, you can watch the following... Mainstream hollywood movie from 2005. And yes, it was done "for real" while filming. Quote
Guest Jovianmoon Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I'm fortunate that I've been genetically blessed with a hairless torso. My legs get a bit hairy. But my groin and arse? Man, it's a jungle down there! Well, it becomes one if I let it. I usually use electric clippers for the groin area and do that myself. And then I get assistance from a Vietnamese guy that I'm 'familiar' with to help around the anal regions. To save yourself the time, cost and bother of a professional job, is there anyone you're 'familiar' with who can help you shave/wax those areas (vast, though they seem to be)? How about buying the kit and and then offing a boy from a go-go bar to do the job? "No sex, just wax me". That might still end up cheaper plus you've had a night out into the bargain. Just a thought. The pain thing is an urban legend. It's just not true. There can be a slight sting, but it goes away as soon as it registers. I can't remember how much Cutey and Beauty charges for waxing because I go in for several services -- hair cut, highlights, etc. -- at once. But B400 seems to stick in my mind. Quote

Oh, I don't wax down there. Too shy. And like you, I use electric clippers ... over my arms and legs. I even use a razor in areas the clippers just won't go. I never did any of this untilI moved to Asia and realized everyone else was doing it. Quote
Guest thaiworthy Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 I have never considered this treatment. I know nothing about it except that it sounds like something only ladies would do. Last time I looked I was a man. I do know where to buy paraffin for the making of candles, or what product to buy to make my floors shiny and even where to get my car simonized, but that's about it. I'm with Bob, compared to these horrific skin applications, glass looks pretty tasty to me. Wax on, wax off, leave me out of it. Quote
Guest Jovianmoon Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Wax on, wax off, leave me out of it. Then how you achieve balance, Thaiworthy-san?! Quote
Guest Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Last time I looked I was a man. Same here too, but I'm attracted to people with little or no body hair. Any gogo dancer with a hairy chest, back or thighs isn't going to get my custom. Asians tend to have less hair naturally, but if some need to wax, I'm grateful that they take the trouble to look good. I paid Cutey & Beauty 300 baht just for a hair cut (just my head), so I cannot foresee them doing much waxing for 400. Quote
Guest thaiworthy Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Then how you achieve balance, Thaiworthy-san?! Ha-ha. Good one. Sadly, Pat Morita is no longer with us, or I'd ask him. Quote

kokopelli Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 Motel69, I came across a waxing place on the 3rd Floor at The Avenue/Major/Villa Market/Calif-Wow on 2nd Road in Pattaya. The Avenue, on the right, is not far past Royal Garden which is on the left. I did not pamper myself with their services so cannot answer any questions other than they offered "painless" waxing. Quote
