Guest fountainhall Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 This is an excellent, interesting, eye-opening and funny blog written by a young Australian giving details of his adventures on his third trip to Asia. This one encompasses six countries in just over four weeks. Part one can be found here - http://thingly.blogspot.com/2011/12/husband-huting-expedition.html I found the blog thanks to gaybutton's site and this thread - http://gaybuttonthai.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4095 Quote
pong Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 : exellent?Where have the times gone (like I learnt in grammar school) that well-educated Brits (liky you must surely be?) use the ''understatement'' in speaking english? If THIS is excellent-what is the real stuff then. As you know I like to be brutally unThai honest- just barely mediocre is my grade. What wonders me more is that this self-proclaimed tight-arsed money saving blogger throws the money around and seems to have no clue of how BKK-bekpekstyle works. Has not even got the clue to read a guidebook. Probably also a thing that todays students are unaware of that these exist. Quote
Guest Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 When reading a blog, I look for entertainment. This blog certainly provided that & I look forward to the next installment. Quote

Lawrence never comes amiss. A blog is just a blog. To me, many that I come across are as boring as most of the fare served up on True Visions. This one had me laughing. Perhaps you'd have preferred it if I had written - "A moderately interesting, faintly amusing piece of writing of perhaps occasionally doubtful veracity that is on the one hand overlong, yet on the other provides the odd chuckle and whiles away one's time without ever taxing one's intelligence." I think that's about as much understatement as my limited education can produce As you know I like to be brutally unThai honest- just barely mediocre is my grade. So I guess you enjoyed it. Quote
