Guest fountainhall Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 The photos below may look as though see-through skirts are the new fad in Japan. Actually, they are merely prints on the skirts to make it look as though panties and thighs are visible! I wonder when the male version will be on the shelves? I guess if some entrepreneurs are working on it, the prints will also merely be of backs. Were they to do the fronts as well, I imagine they'd come in all shapes and sizes! And since they'd be paintings, would they need to be pixilated???? Quote
Moses Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 it isn't new... it is 5-7 years old already... Quote
Guest Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 Well, if going down this direction, why not make it a g-string? Then would the shape of the photo change when the waist goes from 28" to 40"? Merely scaling the photo of a 28" guy up to fit the 40" inch waist just wouldn't look right. Quote
Rogie Posted October 12, 2011 Posted October 12, 2011 What a hoot, very amusing. If some of them are as realistic-looking in the flesh as they are in your pictures Fountainhall I think there could be public order issues in countries such as Britain where the menfolk are likely to be considerably less restrained than their counterparts in Japan If Z is implying the more generously proportioned amongst us is likely to sit less easily with this fashion I would agree with that. When will the boys adopt it? PDQ I would say! And what a boon for those whom nature has conferred poorly-endowed buttocks -- the 32" bubble-butt design will fly off the shelves . . . Quote
Guest thaiworthy Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 I made a pair of pants like that using Z909's avatar. So far, I've been offed 3 times! Ooops. Shouldn't have mentioned that. Now he'll want a usage fee. Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 I'm sure Moses is correct. I just had not seen them till recently. Here's another fashion fad that lasted for a while -boob scraves! Quote
Rogie Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Here's another fashion fad that lasted for a while -boob scraves! Ouch! sounds painful So is Japan the only place they've made an appearance? It would be interesting to know if those pictures are of real people or just models on a photo-shoot. One thinks of staged photos such as the woman clad in nowt but a fur coat - open at the front . . . Quote
Guest Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 I think there could be public order issues in countries such as Britain where the menfolk are likely to be considerably less restrained than their counterparts in Japan I think you have this the wrong way around. Japan has women only railway carriages as a solution for the problem of groping. We don't need this in Britain. I made a pair of pants like that using Z909's avatar. So far, I've been offed 3 times! Ooops. Shouldn't have mentioned that. Now he'll want a usage fee. My avatar is a plagiarised edit from a previous Taiwan Gay Pride event. I'm hoping Fountainhall will somehow manage to circulate some 10MP Aqux pictures from this years event (another reminder ). Quote

We don't need this in Britain. You've visited Japan and I haven't so I am happy to hear that, however I think it is Japan where I have seen on television the way station guards physically push passengers onto the trains so they are packed liked sardines. Quite clearly any hot-blooded heterosexual Japanese make is going to take advantage. I assume that is why they have women-only carriages. Groping would certainly have been possible in the old fashioned British railway carriages which comprised individual compartments seating 6 or 8 passengers, but not nowadays where it is open-plan seating. Guest fountainhall Posted October 14, 2011 Posted October 14, 2011 Nice discussion. But time to come clean and bare all The skirts are genuine and they did make their first appearance 7 - 8 years ago. But you would never see anything like these in public. Japanese sensibilities are far too delicate to tolerate that! It would be interesting to know if those pictures are of real people or just models on a photo-shoot. Pretty close! They are real skirts, but according to the Toronto Star which ran a piece about them: The only time you see these scenes are in photographs in porno magazines. There’s nothing like this on the streets . . . The magazines use a computer graphics program to combine the image of the skirted woman with another wearing just underwear. The end result looks as if the skirt is see-through . . . the magazines will usually claim to have taken the pictures using a special camera lens that allows them to shoot through clothes. http://www.snopes.com/photos/risque/skirts.asp You can get a hint from the photo with the couple - there are no other members of the public around. They did become a 'fad' in that business for a while. Then, like all fads, they became 'old hat'. . . . I think it is Japan where I have seen on television the way station guards physically push passengers onto the trains so they are packed liked sardines. As z909 points out, there are certainly women-only carriages on a number of train services. But not, I think (unless recently installed), the extensive Tokyo overground JNR commuter system, and this is one where we generally see the station attendants shoving passengers in to the trains. Some years ago, I was even groped on the Skytrain here in Bangkok when it was only mildly packed - and I enjoyed it!! Now does anyone know a good photo sharing site that doesn't force people to compromise the resolution too much? Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 I'm hoping Fountainhall will somehow manage to circulate some 10MP Aqux pictures from this years event Even at maximum size, I doubt if the photos will actually come in at much more than 5MP. But the 20x telephone zoom should make them . . . 'interesting' Quote
ChristianPFC Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 I never saw these before, I'm glad I missed this trend and I hope it is over. Quote
