Guest HeyGay Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 As I have been under a curfew not to tell the truth about La Cage until the Ink is dry others fantasize about it by asking lady boy staff I get my Info once again from the Horses mouth, if those who pretend to know what's going on from MONTY and the lady boy staff were in the know, they would also know the Manager of La Cage has now taken over the Old sky Bar so if you want to meet all the lady boys of your dreams your soon be able to meet tem there. More Importantly the question that every one is asking is who is going to pay the enormous asking price of nearly a million baht who else a couple of Million are 2 wonderful friends of mine of long standing have decided to buy it for there friend so they all have a gentleman's Club of there own to go to and have fun. After having a drink with them last night after a long Boosy dinner, my friends whoes names are Old Brendon and Young Allen two of the nicest guys you could ever wish to meet and after a short refurbishment will be able to greet all those who just want a good old Pub Bar, as they know how to run, Brendon a Chartered Accountant, previously owned on of the Biggest Pubs in Dublin and Allen is a mine of Information about Asia, so lots of Interesting things to chat about there. Buying a bar to have a Gentleman's Club of their own sounds a bit frivolous to me. I hope they have better intentions, better business reasons for buying this bar. Every time I passed La Cage it was always busy, no doubt due to the hard work of the previous owner. If these new owners do follow through, I do hope this tradition continues. It would be nice to see it thrive. And no Thai boyfriend to leave the business in his name? What is Pattaya coming to? Quote

When I am there I use to stop by for a game of pool before calling it an evening but now well I guess I will just have to wait and see. Quote

A curfew is an order to return home or to your place of residence before a certain time, so I am guessing that whoever lifted the curfew is someone in government, his teachers, his parents, or more likely whoever has been appointed his Guardian Ad Litem. Shocked at your prediction. However, most of your predictions become true (except Ocean 1). But, you seem to have a good in with all the bar news. Have you considered writing for the Nicky's Gay Pattaya? Between the two of you, you would have a monopoly on gossip in Sunee. And, if you sat at a certain corner bar VIP table, the monopoly would be bigger than News Corp! You are the Rupert Murdoch of Thailand. He had his strong opinion about them. He said it is better to leave them alone, and not participate at all, too much gossip. Being away from them myself for some time (I fully understood Mike's opinion, and did agree with him), I had not heard about the LaCage case. Not until I received Nicky's update in my mail. There was a short notice about this. This was the reason to log in for some more information. Whatever happened, couldn't we try to act like grown people? Now after reading some postings again, I got information, but not in the way I expected. You are fighting like small kids here, not any fun reading. I will miss Mike and his bar. I think we may have a slightly skewed perspective here. There really isn't much fighting here in the conventional sense. I hadn't read the above before, but it's actually quite funny in the context of this topic, if you think about it. If all posters conducted themselves with the same behavior as those that gather in bars, the gossip would be much worse here than it actually is. If I may say so, I think the author of this note had board temperament in mind, certainly not gossip. Mebbe the guidelines need updating? The subject of this thread has more to do with gossip than the alleged fighting. You wouldn't have had the latter without the former. Quote
