Yes, living someplace is very different than visiting that paradise ... as a tourist.  Many expats have learned that lesson.

it's why wise people advise  to live somewhere for about a year  before making final decision

I know what do you mean. Somewhere in this forum there's my report from my first visit to Pattaya   in  Nov 2014 and I recorded my first impression that city seems to be full of sad looking farangs. I was ready to give up on Pattaya but some wise members advised me to give Pattaya a chance , I did and now see her advantages although I'm firmly in Bangkok camp. I don't like sea but like rivers

I like to dance, I like to laugh.

I did this in Pattaya and got some strange looks from expats

😳"Aren't you too old to be dancing , one asked in Pattaya

Yes I said ,I should sit here being miserable with you 😜

Oh fuck it...I will dance instead

You made my day @Olddaddy

Too many of the expats here (Pattaya / Jomtien) forgot how to have fun, stay healthy, and create a positive attitude.

Dancing is good for your health and morale.  Sitting in those bar chairs night after night with the standard uninnovative and unexciting bar manager mantra of "farang sit and farang drink" is just SO boring.

@Olddaddy please open a cool fun dance place in Jomtien.

I know many of the readership prefer Bangkok - but there is no sea to look at and the air is so much fresher and healthier out here at the seaside.

I once half-jokingly asked J. what else, apart from my money, made he fall in love with me. His answer is brief and, as clichéd as it may sound, still moves me "because of what I feel when I'm with you."

About two months ago (we were in a hotel in Vientiane at the time), in the middle of the night, J. suddenly turned to me and hugged me so tight, his whole body shaking, he woke me up (he was never a clingy type when he sleeps). Then he stopped and I went back to sleep. The next morning, I asked him about what happened. "I had a terrifying nightmare. That's why I hugged you. I now don't remember much about what I saw in my dream, but as soon as I hugged you, I feel safe again." Should I ask for more?

You have to admit you don't get many Pattaya gay expats as the happiest to talk to,😠of course different from the Bangkok gay expats 😅

I find the straight expats much better to be social with so usually end up on Soi Bukhao or up at Canterbury tales bookshop 😻

At the moment I would rather remain a tourist.

I never forget John aka LMTU let me tell you writing about the "bitter and lemon faced🍋 expats" of Pattaya

Of course most are dying off now which isn't a bad thing as it brings in a newer modern generation

But does it? I thought there was a lack of younger expats?

I didn't know a banana was bored? It has several uses!

I agree about the air, if you get out of the centre of Pattaya.

The key to having a fresh air life here is to live OUTSIDE of Pattaya city.

I live in Dongtan beach at Jomtien = fresh air every day.

He only moans when he indeed feels good. So I used his moaning as guidance when exploring his body and finding his G. spots. As someone who only tops and whose basic moves used to limiting to "fast-forward" and then "stall", I ventured to try out more positions, carefully calculating the angle and tempo changes in each case to achieve the maximum results (i.e., the loudest moaning).

I even learned how to do cum-control in order to last longer (those daily cardios in the gym helps too. Actually each day with J. is always like working out twice if you know what I mean😉 ).

My efforts paid off. Since I'm someone who feeds off greatly on his partner's pleasure, the more J. enjoys the sex, the more turned on I am

I LOVE it.

This is also my preferred modus operandi.

Bravo!!
