Foolish Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I was there yesterday evening with a friend from BKK. We got a seat on the beach chair for 100bt each and watched the show almost to the end. Then we went our separate ways, me to x-boys and he to the girlie bars 🤣 reader, vinapu and bkkmfj2648 3 Quote

bkkmfj2648 Posted November 30 Posted November 30 I was there for night 2 of this wonderful 2 night annual event. I went with my "main squeeze" and we decided to see the fireworks from the Phra Tamnak viewpoint, which is up on the hill that seperates Pattaya City from Jomtien. We were lucky, as the crowds were not overbearing like down on the Pattaya City beach. My Thai friend had gone to see the fireworks on the previous night at the City Coffee Pattaya viewpoint ( which he said was super packed ) - which also has an amazing view, as it is slightly above the famous Pattaya City sign that adorns the Bali Hai harbor. We were very lucky to easily get 2 motorbike taxis from his condo (VT1) to the Phra Tamnak viewpoint. To get back to the Jomtien Complex was also very easy as many motorbike taxi drivers were already parked on top of the viewpoint waiting for customers. We arrived 1 hour before the show started and we left after Hong Kong and Serbia finished their fireworks. Here is a photo and short video. 1733005812645.mp4 Back in Supertown I learned that my Thai friend's roommate was offed by a farang the previous night and this farang - with his farang friend - paid 7,000 baht to rent a speed boat to see the fireworks directly in front of where they were being launched. So, the boat owner charges 1,000 baht for each guest on his boat, which has a maximum capacity of 8 people (including the boat captain). When I learned about this possibility, I told my Thai friend, let us do this next year, as 7,000 baht is not a bad price for you and 6 of your friend's to have this kind of unique fun. Obviously, it cost these 2 farangs more money because they had to pay each of the 5 MB that they invited onto the boat 2,000 baht each. My Thai friend's roommate did not report to work the next day after being on the boat, as he got drunk and seasick (he vomited overboard) - even though the sea was calm - but if you are not used to the up and down motion of a stationary boat then I guess it won't be pleasant. But, I am up for it for next year. Who shall be the 6 guys that I would invite ? 🤔😜🤩 vinapu and BL8gPt 2 Quote
