I simply can't understand why you people think these boys are "POOR". They are not. Maybe asset poor. But they are cash rich!

There are always exceptions. I guess if you are very successful at selling your ass, you can become rich. But this are the tiny minority. 

And I think the discussion was on the local clients being charged less and the rationale behind it...

I'm not looking for love.

We all look for certain criteria when searching for a guy to have sex with, and for me a handsome face is essential. It's the same with hetero guys who want to fuck a beautiful young woman, not some ugly old pro. 

Looking at a beautiful masculine or cute face of your partner while having sex - and especially watching him cum- is priceless.

Some of us are willing to pay for that.

As for guys on the game in Thailand making a fortune, my 2 regular 'companions' have done very well indeed; the one in Bangkok has a huge cattle farm and an orchard. He now has a rich Thai sponsor. My Pattaya friend is also enjoying a very nice standard of living.

But from my experience, these 2 guys are exceptions. They have at least a couple of things in common - they don't party, they don't drink or do drugs and they save a lot of their money. 

Those who become truly rich from their 'assets' are few and far between. Babe from Moonlight is probably one of them.

to keep things in perspective - we don't know what people are paying , we only know what we were told what people paid, either by them or recipient of the largesse , if any.

Money seem to be sticky and storm inducing subject and I wouldn't be surprised if some quotations we hear  are either under - or over quotations  for that or this reason.

I vividly recall a case when me and my guy invited third one for birthday party  and next morning my guy made kind of scene furious about tip I gave to our "helper " . Why ? helper told him he got twice as much  then he actually got.

I face similar case when i hire boy locally vs farang that hire boys here (usually singaporeans who usually earns 3 times or more on average than malaysian).

Yes, there are those who are super rich than dont mind paying more just to get guys who are their type and will do what they want. But the majority actually comes here to hire boys for cheaper than what they'll pay back home.

Having said that, most shop here have a fixed price for full service and this price per hour makes it easier for us to know what to pay, even when hiring freelancer. Those who arent as picky, can make this price as their maximum, and can get guys willing to go with them, or simply take one from the gay center. 

Now, there are also those freelancer who asked for double what the massage centers are asking. Usually these are the handsome, model looking, muscular guys from neighboring countries. From time to time, we will get this kind of quality from western countries as well, asking 4 times the regular price. 

Im pretty sure its similar case in thailand. You can get any guys and any reasonable price if you arent picky or your type are the twink skinny type or average guys. If you have expensive types, be ready to pay more.

To add a bit, ive had a chat with my regular about this topic, and one guy did say he once had a customer offer him almost 5 times what he is charging because he wanted a 3some. But this kind of customer and offer comes once in a blue moon.

The ban on social media has close to 88% support from the general public. That figure also includes kids under 16 who are affected by the ban. So much for Australia being "authoritarian". 😂

As for your opinion regarding the correlation between Japanese and Thai culture, how could you possibly know if you haven't spent a lot of time in Japan?? You are trying to make a point by relying on an uneducated guess.

There is a huge correlation between the 2 cultures -and Buddhist cultures in general share lots in common. But all you can compare is your 1 Western culture with 1 asian culture - and your formative years were in the Western one. So you are commenting on a subject you know nothing about.
