Forum member felt the pizza was not authentically Italian enough

If I look at the picture I feel the same way... but hey, if it's delicious... I will try it next January during my stay at Quarter Silom.  Regarding Italian cuisine: Give Marco Polo at Soi Convent a try. I like it, small but friendly an delicious.

Farang customer was clingy and touchy, his hand inside the briefs of the guys. And there were only 3 glasses of empty drinks on the table. Meaning he had one drink for himself and he bought two drinks for the guys but he had been staying for quite a while until everyone had finished their drinks. Cheapskate Charlie!

Wouldnt be too quick to label him that. He could be planning to give the boys more in tips or plan to off them. Since you know one of the boy, maybe u can find out hehe.

Unlikely that he had intention to off them since my guy kept looking and signalling to me.

He could have given big tip (500 baht?) for drinking and touching them but you are right, I will only know if I ask the two guys. Which means I must go back!

Hope so! I haven't found out his rate. Need to speak to him in person to find out.

.................

Friday - Moonlight

good idea to speak to boy directly as is not unknown to science that intermediaries - usually mamasans  but sometimes boys as well are jacking up quoting prices to include their own take

Not sure that Friday and Boss is best combination at Moonlight. On Friday and Saturday they have after hours DJ party till 2 and Boss and my favorite Y are dancing on the scene so he may not be available that night or available for less time then you wish.

That was precisely reason I saw Y only once last trip-schedules did not align

The cinemas are currently showing The Lord of the Rings series of films as part of 20th anniversary. Perfect way to kill 4 hours in daytime. I hopped on a bus from Silom to Centralworld and watched the 12pm showing of part 1 of the series- The Fellowship of The Ring. Ticket cost 190 baht - cheap entertainment in airconditioned comfort for lazy afternoon. I dozed off twice at the talky parts of the movie. When the movie ended at 4pm, I did some shopping before taking bus back to Silom. I can repeat this same routine for parts 2 and 3 of the series on other days. Forum members in my close group admonished me, saying I could have gone for 2 massages in that 4 hours. Thinking about it, watching a movie and having a massage has certain similarities - you stay inert, your mind switches off, you fall asleep and the end is always climatic! But of koz a massage doesn't cost 190 baht!

I like to join their admonishment. I get one goes to movies with the boy but alone ?!? You can do better and you know it.

Hope your evening was more productive ! It was Jupiter you were scheduling yourself  to go, right ?

Now all of the sudden I'm big fan of that bar

Guys are either asleep or working at day job at 12pm so poor me alone.

Tuesday was a quiet day at the pool. I thought of going to Sauna Mania for the first time ever since it was so close but was unsure there would be enough of a crowd on a weekday afternoon. I decided that I will go on a weekend.

The good thing about staying in soi 3 is the proximity to local food stalls. Just opposite my Airbnb condo is a Thai boat noodle shop. Open 11am to 7pm and I have gone there twice for their tasty noodles and brothy soup. Only 60 baht!

I once asked a Thai friend what he thought of Sauna Mania and he was quite dismissive: “Office girls!” he sniffed.
