TotallyOz Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 While Bangkok is a large city, the old adage stands true, "the world is a small place." About 8 years ago on one of my first visits to Bangkok I met a boy named Boy. He was working at the old Boys Bangkok. He was sweet and adorable and very kind. I liked him so much I took him to Pattaya with me for 2 months to help me get set up there. Over the next year he came to visit me several times. Things did not work out with us as he was just too sweet and helpful and I like a bit of a bad boy. Boy never went back to work on Soi Twilight at any bar. I lost his number and put out as many feelers as I could but no luck. I had not really thought of him in years. He was in his mid to late twenties when we met so now he would be in mid thirties. Last night, I was walking down a street in Bangkok in an area where I wasn't expecting to see anyone I have ever known and this massage boy approaches me and says hi. I didn't pay attention until I heard him call out my name. When I took a better look, it was Boy. He works in a regular massage place and has a 5-year-old daughter and is married. He is still just as sweet as ever. Naturally, I got a food massage and he was wonderful. After he left me he went to the Wat to study massage and has been doing it ever since. His wife works at the airport and he works in Bangkok. There are so many times in my life when I see people I don't ever expect to see again. Boy was a delight to see and it was great to catch up with him. He asked, "Is that bad boy still with you?" I said yes and he laughed. He knew back then that we didn't work out, as he was just too sweet. The massage was great and it was fantastic to see him again. Never think that finding an old flame is impossible after they have dropped off the face of the earth. Quote
TotallyOz Posted June 11, 2011 Author Posted June 11, 2011 I have had this boy to my apartment once or twice a week now for massages. He is fantastic and sweet. It is so good to run into guys you have not seen in ages and they get even better with time. Quote
kokopelli Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 During my first visit to Thailand I met a boy who stole my heart but disappeared for two years to parts unknown. He later reappeared and his whereabouts were immediately made aware to me via the wine-vine. And yes, we have been together ever since. Quote
Guest thaiworthy Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 I have the same story to share. I met the guy in my avatar in 1998. In 2003 we lost track of each other. I found him again in 2007 and I have been coming to see him now for up to a month at a time, twice a year. I am moving to Bangkok in 2012 when we will be living together and I have retired. I am 60 years old now and I support him monthly. Next year can't get here fast enough for me. Quote
