As of today, Miss Lindsey G, and a whole list of the usual GOP suspects are walking back their opposition to Matt Gaetz nomination as AG.....   They were  shaking in their boots before, and they are shaking in their boots even more NOW, so even the smallest possibility that anyone in the GOP Senate will oppose and overrule Trumps desires is simply Ridiculous.   No one is strong or committed enough to sign their OWN political Death warrant, and endure a life of torture and retribution.

I don't recall seeing democrat Senators oppose any of Dementia Joe's Cabinet picks. And he made some really lousy choices (including his DEI Veep pick, Cackling Kamala) but he wasn't looking for qualified candidates. He was most concerned with playing identity politics and picking a cabinet that "looks like America." I don't know if that America included the 20+ million illegals he allowed to walk across the border.
