However, I was 2 weeks in Da Nang - back in April of this year to escape Thailand's Songkran water gun wars. I see many quotations from 700,000 to 1,200,000 VND dong - perhaps Da Nang - being a much smaller city than Saigon starts at a lower price range?? I also see from my Heesay messages that many of the guys who were endlessly soliciting me were students at the local universities in Da Nang. Quote

Yes, in central VN prices are lower, than in SGN - than smaller is city, then lower are prices, but "market" is also smaller Quote
