Bringing your boy to breakfast

Do you long timers /overnighters take your boy to breakfast 🥞

I'm sitting in the Zing resort, I'm a slow eater so have encountered two farangs with boys and one boy looked visibly nervous with anxiety constantly looking around to see who is looking 🤯

There conversation was one sided with the boys english not that good ,not that I was listening in but the boy was shouting his words .

I had a German customer sitting next to me ( facing their table ) he was laughing obviously at them then turned to me and spoke in German ,no idea what he was saying and then he was smoking🚬🚬💨 so I ignored him ,I don't really get on with German people 🇩🇪

At the Zing no one cares but a non gay hotel maybe you would get stares even by Thai customers 🫢

of course, at both ends of meetup

I have habit of asking my long time companion if he is hungry or wants eat something  right after we left the bar. If yes or he says' up to you " I assume he wants to eat something  and we go somewhere upscale  nearby  , in BKK usually Foodland Patpong or Happy Beer Garden across Raya  or G'Bangkok  in soi 4 .Sometimes they prefer street food , fine with me . I even regularly  meet one weirdo who wants KFC combo but that we usually order to the room.

In the room I tell them they can join me for breakfast  in the morning and 2 out 3 guys will , either in  the hotel if breakfast was included or we go to Foodland, my usual breakfasting place.

Never had any issues with other customers other than possibly shaking head seeing me 4th morning in row with a boy , each time different one.

I always ask boy if he has any preference of dining place as I noticed sometimes they are reluctant to go to more upscale one or place where they can be seen but it's relatively rare, perhaps once per 2-3 trips.

I have one semi-regular who definitely declines meal invitation in Silom area so we either order room service or go to MBK or Madrid Tavern , far from the area. But he is not a boy from the scene and it's why he is so shy.

Rarely but it happened few times boy in the morning is asking ' can we go for breakfast now because  I want to go home " which for me is big NO, NO and not only I would decline that breakfast but also remove him from list of guys with good standing immediately and forever.

Not breakfast but similar. The first Thai man I got off with on my first visit in 2011 was in GOD. I took him to Patong Beach for 2 nights and he clearly wanted to sit in a different place to me at the airport gate. In 13 years and some 46 trips I recall only one dirty look from a farang woman in a hotel at my being with a handsome young Asian man. In Chiang Mai the young Thai man I was with insisted on holding my hand to help me cross every road so not shy at all.

Since Covid I’ve stayed at the Zing Resort maybe 6 times as it’s now become my hotel of choice whilst in Pattaya, being gay friendly and of course close to the Complex bars. My overnight boy companions vary, sometimes “boyfriends” I have with me for several days, one night offed boys, rarely two of the latter, and at the other extreme a solitary overnight.

i rather like the zing hotel buffet and usually invite the “boyfriend type” to eat with me. Seated on the terrace occasionally you encounter a variety of customers, sometimes others with boys, sat alone, in groups or on one recent occasion an Aussie with an overnight girl. Reactions to me and my boy vary from complete indifference, muttered “morning” to, and in the case of a guy with boy, asking to share a table and chat when it was busy. I’ve never had an adverse reaction - it’s Pattaya after all !

Generally with overnight boys you get those who want to leave plus tip at the earliest opportunity and those who are hard to get rid off even when cleaners want to do their work, which is difficult when confronted with a naked boy in the bed.

I must have stayed in at least thirty hotels with my Teerak over the years, including non-Thai ones. Hotels of different "classes" and only a couple of them gay. I've been trying to think of any bad experiences at breakfast and I honestly cannot think of even one. Of course, P is now in his forties, and this undoubtedly makes a difference in that we  no longer look like a punter-barboy duo.

The only time I recall our feeling uncomfortable was on an island trip in Krabi. The offending couple weren't German but Australian.....which surprised us because Old Daddy's countrymen and women are usually so friendly towards us. On that occasion it was an elderly Italian couple on the boat who made it clear that they supported us.

In the Meridien there are often boys having breakfast with their clients.  No-one seems to mind. During New Year over half the breakfast room were male couples! Not all MBs! I don't do LT, but I noticed that with my booking, I get breakfast for 2 included. I have used that to invite my Siam Roads guide to have breakfast before tour. One morning I noticed an MB I had been with a couple of days before, sitting with another client.  I waved and he waved back. Cambodian  guy.

I live alone at home in the UK, but on holiday I hate to eat alone.

Whichever boy is with me when I feel hungry I invite to eat with me, be it breakfast, an afternoon snack or evening meal.

This recent holiday I was arranging short-times at 3pm and 6pm (more or less) and there would be competition amongst my regulars for the 6pm slot precisely because I would want to eat afterwards.

In terms of overnights, mostly (but not always) my BF, breakfast was a must for both of us.

For half my stay, my hotel is the Queen Victoria in the heart of Soi 6, where I have stayed for the last ten years. I used to be the only guy in there with money boy companions, but occasionally now I have seen one or two others. No problems from the staff who recognise a few now and happily chat and banter with them. None of the other customers have ever said anything, or if they have then they have kept it to themselves.

More recently the other half of my stay has been in the Zing, in Jomtien Complex, a more recognisably gay-friendly hotel. Not that I use their restaurant much (reminds me of the canteen at my old school), instead I take my friends to whatever bistro or restaurant I fancy. Again, never an issue with anyone. Even when some of my boys are only breaking 20, and I am now 70.

So my advice is, if you want a boy companion at your breakfast table, just do it and enjoy it!

Maybe not advisable in every hotel bar in Soi bukhao though 😁😉

Sorry for going off-topic, but to answer that, I usual try and balance things and have one top and one bottom each day. Also Cialis helps! 🤣

Having had an unsatisfactory experience with a guy at Arena in the afternoon I was surprised to see him with a customer at breakfast at the Meridien the following morning! Presumably they had had a better experience the previous evening. Different strokes etc.....

it's why I always advise go and check for yourself as often recommendations are not working for us way they were presented. One guy's hero may be at best also run for the next guy

How a massage turns out can sometimes owe it origin to the pre-massage shower. When I arrived at Phetboy last Saturday, the guy I picked happened to be in shop. He was new and from Myanmar with just about no English save yes and now. But we quickly became acquainted in the few minutes under the shower head and that set the tone for the next 55 minutes. He’s now on my top three list from that shop. I love international relations. 🙂

You just walked in or did you have an appointment already?

Guy I had appointment with cancelled at last minute. Manager gave me phone with photos and the replacement i chose just happened to be among five guys hanging around shop. For the record, I could have chosen any of the other four. They have many of my type here.

and why would a gay person stay in that area when there are 3 known gay areas to stay in:

the Sunee Plaza area,

Boyztown,

Jomtien Complex

Maybe he has a great stamp collection and the customer and him had a great time discussing stamp collection overnight!

Indeed, perhaps they sat up all night discussing different productions of Billy Budd!

PS I liked the one at Glyndebourne...
