Famished is not good either. Distracting. What I do is to go to a nearby 7-11 and get an ice-cream. The sugar keeps hunger at bay for a couple of hours. The ice-cream melts into liquid inside you, unlike a bun which has bulk and takes a while to digest.

I think @vinapu once mentioned he did the same ice-cream trick.

indeed , more than once . I usually take massages in the afternoon which is well after breakfast and and before dinner which I usually eat right after dark. Between those two 7/11 ice cream and tray of fruits from the street are  my only meals. Due to heat I rarely feel really hungry in SE Asia

There is an option of taking a foot massage first as pre-cursor before the actual massage.

Anyone know the background of Guido the restaurant owner ?

Doing some research it appears this restaurant used to be in Soi 2 over 15 years ago so it must of been around a long time 😲

I for one am always more interested in members of staff than owners even if Guido is very funny, pleasant and handsome guy
