TotallyOz Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 My friend and I went to Boyztown last night to take in some of the guys. He had an appointment with a guy from Panorama so we had a drink there before going to Funny Boys. As usual, the mamasan, Rose, is excellent. She found me a lovely boy and it didn't take long for me to take him off and make a booking for the next AM. I had a great time with him and was glad that I met him. When he came to my apartment today he was leaving and I asked where he was going. He said to the temple for Buddha. He said it was his birthday. Hearing this 1,000 times over the years I said, "Can I see your ID?" He pulled it out and he was not lying. Today was his 20th Birthday and his ID backed it up. I smiled and felt like shit for not believing him (even though I didn't let him know that). I gave him another 1k baht and told him to have a great Birthday. The next surprise was when I was having lunch, he sent me an SMS and said, "Thank you so very much." I was really moved and I thought a classy boy. Few are appreciative and he even sent the message again to say thanks. That was a good lesson for me today as I am often too cynical! Quote
Guest Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 That was a good lesson for me today as I am often too cynical! Maybe that's cynical. However if punters start handing out an extra 1000 baht without seeing proof of a birthday, I suspect some gogo dancers will soon have 365 birthdays a year. Quote

daddydawg Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Michael, I don't care what Jomtien says. I think you are a great guy. Quote

Guest jomtien Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 I don't recall Jomtien contributing to this discussion. I was probably complaining about noisy all-night parties upstairs. Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Haha! I had not realised you are neighbours. Probably a justifiable complaint Quote
TotallyOz Posted January 16, 2011 Author Posted January 16, 2011 He is directly beneath me (room wise) and he said, "damm, I thought I heard an elephant stampede last night. I told him no, I was just going to brush my teeth and asked him to not be so sensitive to sound. Quote
Guest jomtien Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 I'll pay for the rope ladder if you'll send a few boys down to my balcony Quote
