Guest fountainhall Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 I read the next rally is scheduled for Sunday 9th January from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Democracy Monument. They are expecting around 60,000 to attend. Quote
pong Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Is it? Another change? Another newspapaer? What I have seen is a repeat ''remembrance'' every 19th at the Rajprasong intersection. For those readers only knwoing the gay parts of BKK; this monument (anusawaree prachathipathai) is in the roundabout mid in Rajdamnern Avenue, near Sanam Luang, where the black ninja's killed several protesters and others in april-soon after which the demonstrators all moved to Rajprasong. The usual rumour-mill, and superstitious as most Thai are, says they thought this place (also near Phan Fa-bridge) was haunted by the ghosts of those deceased. Why this does not apply to Rahjprasong-no idea. Quote

TotallyOz Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 The Reds are going to keep going. Some time has gone by but now is the peak of high season. Wasn't that the Yellow Shirts goal? Interrupt tourism? Perhaps the Reds have learned. Quote
TotallyOz Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 hide your matches Didn't the recent released videos show that the Red's didn't cause the fire at Central? Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 The last demonstration was peaceful as the red shirts claimed it would be. My guess is that this will be similar. Quote
