Guest voldemar Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I went to Central today and stopped by new Hilton. The place is very nice. I especially liked pool area where it was really cool and the view was fantastic. I do not know whether I will stay over there though. The place is pricy and in terms of location probably not the best (though if one is interested in early morning venues like NAB probably O'K). My personal criteria for hotel:location, reasonable swimming pool, hussle-free management, in terms of guests etc, free and reliable internet. Lastly, I do appreciate if everything in the room and hotel in general works properly (not easy to find in Pattaya). Talking about high season: well, not the worst but far from the best. Plenty of Gay visitors (the show in Coppa was full) but overall the town is not overcrowded (which is a plus in my books). Though I was the only viewer of Narnia 3 in Venue movie theater (even argued with myself should I stand up when the moment came...). Quote

Pricy means about US$300.00 a night...that is PRICY! tj Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 The rates on their site are not 300. Cheapest advance purchase mid-week rate on the HIlton's website is around US$255 including tax and service. Add the breakfast that many hotels include in their room rates and my guess is you are looking at around US$280 or so. 3 of the internet booking websites offered exactly the same price. Some hotels increase the room rate at week-ends. Not sure of the Hilton's policy. Where can you find a lower rate? Quote
