This significant event is expected to contribute to the recovery of Thailand’s tourism sector, with TAT predicting over 979,000 German tourists to visit Thailand this year, generating an estimated 65 billion baht in revenue. The restart of Condor’s direct flights underscores a robust demand for long-haul travel to Thailand, providing a much-needed boost to the tourism industry. Condor will now operate two major routes: Frankfurt to Phuket, with two weekly flights starting yesterday, and Frankfurt to Bangkok, with four weekly flights commencing today. These flights will be serviced by Airbus A330neo aircraft, each accommodating 310 passengers. Quote
