Well stage one is complete, airfare and hotel are booked for November's 2 week trip. Now I just have to wait for the magic date, arrival at the hotel is close to midnight (if the Immigration queue is short) so the first night will be sleep.

Hate that time because it's a missed night unless I hit the early late closers in Pattaya 

I guess Jomtien complex will be still open at 2am 🕑

Isn't the late closing of bars  now ok?🍺

relax , you are not coming fort day or two only.

It never hurts after setting in the hotel to have a little walk of the area, one never knows who has sleepless night.

Bit over a week to go now and looking forward to getting away from this bloody circus for a spell even if my activities will be a bit restricted, my activities in Bangkok are now reduced to Plan B as I have the first of two medical procedures shortly after my return. That first one is the easy one but next year will bring a bastard of an operation that I was hoping to avoid, such is life I guess but at least I will be doing my best to enjoy this trip, just not sure when the next will be but if possible I may try to sneak a week over before the op.

My father used to wish to everybody, on bitrthays and similar occasions, long life, 103 years, exactly. 

That generated always question " why 103?" to which cheerfull answer was dispensed " that average lifespan of donkey"
