TotallyOz Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Personally, I prefer the Kamagra the best. But, I have friends that swear by Cialis. Since these things are all pretty cheap in LOS, what is your preference and why? Quote
Guest lvdkeyes Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 When I was single and getting all the sex I could find I tried all three and liked Kamagra the best. Oddly enough, it is also the cheapest. Quote
Guest Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 If I understand correctly, Kamagra is a generic copy of Viagra. So, subject to quality control, they would be the same? Similarly, Apcalis & so on are generic copies of Cialis. The latter is supposed to perk things up over a longer period of time, so that should require less advance planning. This seems like a good thing to me. I have not compared both sufficiently to know if this difference is for real. Quote
Guest lvdkeyes Posted December 3, 2010 Posted December 3, 2010 Kamagra is a gel form and tends to work faster since it enters the blood stream faster than pills. Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 In another thread, Michael mentions taking "little blue pills" before meeting up with a guy. I am not sure which ones he means, but it started me thinking that we haven't have any discussion recently about a topic that is 'dear' to the hearts of many readers - the pills some pop before, and in the expectation of, a satisfying sexual tryst. It made me wonder. How many readers here take viagra, cialis or kamagra - or any of the other generics out there? Where do you buy them? How much do you pay for them? And do they really work for you? Having reached my 60s with only the rarest of occasions when 'performing' was not as 'rigid' as usual, I decided to try viagra. I had no idea where to buy it and so coughed up the full expense (over Bt. 2,000, I seem to recall) for what I was told was the real deal from my usual little pharmacy on Silom. I took a half pill, and within half an hour felt the blood in my head pounding and slightly dizzy - and that was even before the guy arrived! It made me feel quite uneasy, and so I never took it again. Some months later, I bought a small box of cialis from the same drug store. Again I took half a pill - with no side effects. And it seemed to work, for the tryst I had arranged was a 'huge' and 'lengthy' success. But at over US$15 per pill, that just adds up to making sex quite an expensive deal. So I decided to try one of the on-line pharmacies which offered cialis at around US$3 per pill, with the price reducing the more you bought. So I dipped my toe in that particular water and had 16 pills delivered in an ordinary brown paper bag. I noted that they came from India, even though the company is based in the US. It's 'hard' to know if they really worked or not. I didn't take them every time but felt comfortable knowing they were there should there be a problem with the equipment when the switch of passion had clicked 'on'. Recently I decided that I would use the same pharmacy for a slightly larger supply - which dropped the price to around US$1.60 per pill. Again they came from an address in India. Hopefully they will again work as planned if needed! I should add that in case there was any problem with the Thai customs people, both times I had them delivered to my Hong Kong office address. Incidentally, has anyone had problems getting such pills through the mail? And can you get the same pills here in Thailand without the hassle of on-line ordering? Are they as effective? Quote
williewillie Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Kamagra easily available in Pattaya. My favorite pharmacy sells a box of 50 for 1500b. And they give you a mixture of flavours. 30b. a piece and last about 4 hours. Quote
Guest fountainhall Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Never tried kamagra, but half a cialis tablet - or at least what I have got from the on-line pharmacy which I assume is in fact cialis - lasts a good 30 - 36 hours. So it's great for the morning after - and the evening after as well Quote
kokopelli Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 First time uses of Viagra may well experience a rush but with continued use that should not happen again. I believe the best alternative in Thailand is Kamagra from a reputable pharmacy. For me I usually bring Viagra from US since covered by my drug plan. Sending prescription meds to Thailand is not permitted by postal regulations and may be confiscated. Quote
Guest Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Since the Viagra patent has expired in Thaiand, hasn't the Thai government started pushing the cheap generic "Sidegra", in order to discourage all the counterfeits? That would therefore seem like a good option. Quote
Guest Promsak Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Since the Viagra patent has expired in Thaiand, hasn't the Thai government started pushing the cheap generic "Sidegra", in order to discourage all the counterfeits? Yes. SIDEGRA. Box of 4x tabs (100mg) 180 Baht. Box of 4x tabs (50 mg) 100 Baht. Quote
Guest Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Well, at those prices that has to be the way to go for anyone looking a Viagra clone. Anyone looking to follow Fountainhall with a whole weekend of debauchery might still have to go for a Cialis clone. Quote
Guest Garrison Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 @williewillie, if you are so inclined, can you share either publicly or privately your favourite pharmacy where Kamagra may be purchased here in Pattaya? My favourite pharmacy used to supply me with Levitra at four pills for 750 baht but it's now under new management and Levitra is no longer for sale, sadly. Hence, I'm looking for a new reliable supplier. @promsak, is Sidegra available over the counter or by prescription only? And is it generally available in Pattaya? Great topic by the way, especially for those of us now in our golden years but who are still frisky as ever. Quote
williewillie Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Garrison, pharmacy is called Fortune just off Second rd. and just south of Royal Garden. Also place to buy larger sized condoms (54 & 56). Other side of Second Rd. than Royal Garden. Quote
Guest Promsak Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 @promsak, is Sidegra available over the counter or by prescription only? And is it generally available in Pattaya? Sorry Garrison, I only know Bangkok. When they were first introduced, the publicity stated that they were to be on prescription. They are, however, freely available without prescription at at least one pharmacy that I know of on Rama 4. If you need more details, PM me. Quote
Guest Garrison Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Williewillie and Promsak, thanks to both of you for the information. I sure will miss Levitra though as I never experienced any side effects from using it. Quote
kokopelli Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 I thought that Levitra had one big side effect? Which reminds me of the list of side effects on a sleeping pill I use, one of which is drowsiness! Quote
Guest Garrison Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Williewillie, thank you for your impeccable recommendation and stellar directions. I was most successful in my efforts, sir. Quote
Guest Kylgin Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Personaly for me Cialis is a better erection pills. As far as Viagra and Kamagra if putting aside all the legal issues on the differences between them, these two products are practically the same from the chemical point of view, representing absolutely the same working ingredient, which is sildenafil citrate. This fact allows suggesting that at least theoretically Kamagra has absolutely the same effectiveness and safety as original Viagra. Quote
ggobkk Posted July 27, 2017 Posted July 27, 2017 Dosage note: I have a prescription for sideagra from my US doctor. But the dosage is only one fifth of kamagra's over theconter form. prefer the kamagra in the pill form, haven't tried the gel. Quote
Guest FASAJIP Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 I agree for SIDEGRA. 100 mg, but just take 1/2 tablet... No desease. But just for night... Not long effect. Quote
GWMinUS Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Very useful discussion. At 76 yo I do need some help... For years I have bought the Cialis 5mg, once a day, tablets when I traveled to Asia. But in the US the price for 30 tablets has gone from USD100 to USD200. Last trip to the Philippines I bought 30 tablets for USD150, still USD5 per tablet. SO I would be interested in what is available in Thailand, since I will be there next November. Might try Sidegra, but Viagra did not work as well as Cialis. Quote
steveboy Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Very useful discussion. At 76 yo I do need some help... That's very understandable. I am in my 70s too. Have you tried buying the generic Cialis, the tadalafil drug, that costs a fraction of what Lilly charges for Cialis? Quote
GWMinUS Posted July 30, 2017 Posted July 30, 2017 Yes, but I have not found a source for Tadalafil that seems reputable. Here is a URL about OTC Cialis. (But notice it is posted by a business selling real Cialis by email.) https://www.edrugstore.com/blog/erection-problems/cialis/what-you-need-to-know-about-so-called-generic-cialis Would be great if a reputable drug company did bring Tadalafil to market. denny59 Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Sidegra...made in Thailand,,,Govt' approved,,same ingredients as Viagra...(Sidenaifil)..I have used it many times. Same results as Viagra..cheap in Bankok..can buy at any pharmacy.. Quote
