reader Posted September 9 Posted September 9 A reliable source reports that Good Boy bar (formerly Screw Boy) is giving serious consideration to relocating to the site last occupied by SOL bar (and its short-lived successor) opposite Hot Male's Midnight bar on Patpong 2. vinapu 1 Quote
bkkmfj2648 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Wow @reader, that ex-SOL space is HUGE when compared to the Good Boy / Screw Boy space. This seems like a good thing. Would you agree? Quote
jason1975 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 They have to get rid of that ugly pillar 10tazione 1 Quote
reader Posted September 9 Author Posted September 9 Unfortunately that column supports the load of the ceiling and roof. It's a critical structural element.🙂 Patanawet 1 Quote

Keithambrose Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I agree that the pillar is an issue. Personally I prefer the smaller, more 'intimate' (sic) space where they now are. I find the wide open spaces not conducive to getting to know boys etc. Also, they would consistently have to have a large no of boys. The current, slightly sleazy atmosphere, I like! reader, 10tazione and vinapu 3 Quote
floridarob Posted September 9 Posted September 9 I forget who, but someone did a floor plan/design for that space dividing it into 2 spaces, one for shows and one for closer, intimate sitting and talking if I'm not mistaken....was it you @macaroni21 ? Quote

Is it owned these days by Kings Group? I remember it when it had a horseshoe shaped bar surrounding the stage and the barman was the owner, Pon's(?) son. Oh and the rats scampering in the ceiling void. Quote
reader Posted September 9 Author Posted September 9 Kings Group may well be who they pay rent to. Patanawet 1 Quote
vinapu Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Certainly move will give them better visibility. Current location is for the in-the-know customers only. I like an idea of them being in bigger space as often they are quite full. Then Tawan may move into place they are right now bkkmfj2648 and reader 2 Quote
ichigo Posted September 10 Posted September 10 When Dreamboy was in that location, they made the pillar work. Anyway, whatever venue they are in (the current or the rumoured new), I will definitely still visit! reader and 10tazione 2 Quote

Yes, they erected a narrow walkway on three sides of the pillar that the boys circulated around from the stage. Pretty clever, I thought. 10tazione and bkkmfj2648 2 Quote

pinoy islander Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Hi, Have recent versions of Good Boys been similar to Sunee Plaza days, circa 2017? I just loved the boys, mostly straight, and a bit rough. Maybe not others liking, but a good night would be to surround myself by 8 or 10 boys behind the room divider and suck them off one by one. 300baht per cock! I love public sex and enjoyed it when other expats would sit nearby and enjoy the show. I'm now in the Philippines. Not the greatest gay scene but if you want boys, they are easy to come by. Too easy. Quote

I'd say don't count on that on Good Boys. Not enough space for said divider Quote

jackmathew Posted September 13 Posted September 13 this was in the goodboy in sunee plaza in 2017. the whole purpose of the place was to give a quick suck for 300b. Quote

Or handjob. When I used to go there, 3 or 4 guys would quickly approach you to wank their stiff manly cocks. The problem was that I only had 2 free hands. After the first 2 shot their loads another 3 to 4 guys would approach you. After an hour in that place your arms were ready to fall off. It was definitely a unique --> one of a kind place and so much better than your typical boring Supertown bar -- where the mantra is: Farang sit and farang drink 10tazione, floridarob, vinapu and 1 other 1 3 Quote
Londoner Posted September 13 Posted September 13 I recall that place... when it opened, I gave it a try. Not my scene, sadly- not the way I was brought-up! But what I remember most was the dress -code; weren't all the guys dressed in white shirts, ties and black, formal trousers? The place didn't last long. By the way, could the title of this thread be changed? Everytime I open it I think someone is looking to find a new owner for his friendly dog. And soi dogs are in the news in Pattaya at the moment , are they not? Quote
