This time bit different - trip to Thailand in August 2024

I'm trying to add new places on every trip instead of running back to my favorites every time.

This trip in Brazil I added Belo Horizonte, Next month I'm adding India on my way to my normal places in Asia, as well adding Siem Reap, never been and Bandung and Singapore  ...so 4 new places next time.

I'm In the beginning stages of March travel plans and have booked Laos and Sri Lanka, I'll see how that trip comes together and will add 1 or 2 more new places maybe.

I don't have sour feeling, I have feeling that other vacation destinations may be more rewarding.

Boys wise that trip was quite Ok if not better, warts and all. Vacation wise it feels like waste of opportunity to be somewhere else. If best days of my trip to Thailand were spent in Munich as layovers, it tells me something.

I checked fares for Januray 2025 already and was relieved that so far all are above my self imposed limit of equivalent of 35000 baht

I got a new card, 'Currensea', which charges only a tiny percentage for exchange,  and gives you the Interbank rate. Works well both for purchases and in ATM. I found it was at least as good as the best exchange shop, and often better. It charges your Bank account direct, so not a credit card as such.

@vinapu, can you comment on the quality of boys at Prince in terms of age group, selection - I am guessing they are more similar to Arena?  Also my sense is Senso has probably more younger therapist.

Also it would be good to know which of Prince/Senso have showers in the massage rooms rather than down the corridor. I don't like being separated from my clothes/wallet while showering, nor taking them/it into the shower!

It was my first time upstairs at Jupiter so I do not know if the upstairs seating is always available.

I don't really know for sure  but can't imagine anybody stopping you from taking your drink and going upstairs. After all it where toiles are so access is not restricted at all

majority looked 25-30 , some older. All attractive and looking more polished than Arena boys. Sends boys may be bit younger but we are not talking about substantial difference. All three places name are worth effort of going to.

I can confirmed that you could choose to sit upstairs even when its not full. Ive done that in my previous trip, where other than me, there is another farang lady sitted upstair, opening bottle and boys keep coming to have a glass.

I don't recall ever being in neither Senso , nor Prince , nor even Arena for that matter , in the room without shower inside.

 

You don't need to carry whole wallet to get massage , few notes would suffice as long as they are of brown or pink colour

Day 13

After breakfast together, treat for me itself this trip as it was only second such opportunity out of 12 nights in Bangkok, S and me took taxi to his room. He asked me if I want to see and I did as I never was in boys room in Thailand and was curious. It was in high-rise 50 baht taxi fare away from Patpong . Not that he has much of use of building heights as his room is on 2^nd floor.

Nothing spectacular but quite spacious with bed , couch and desk, also fridge and AC and full toilet with shower. On balcony there was mini kitchen with stove of one burner only. Considering Bangkok heats , quite sensible arrangement . So I ‘d say quite comfortable. Could use some girl’s hand to tidy it a bit, housekeeping is rarely boy’s strong feature but certainly comfortable and habitable.

I returned to Raya by foot and packed as today I’m moving to new place , never tried. Silom Convent Garden , in soi Phipat , right beside Sauna Mania. Quite good location, equidistant between two 7/11 on each end of soi and few minutes walk to Silom’s joys, even closer to Chong Nonsi BTS.

For 35$ I did not expect miracles and upon entry I was amazed by how good deal it is. Whole apartment complete with washer, separate AC in living room and bedroom, very clean and well maintained, lots of storage space and kitchen utensils as well as microwave , all in. In short , quite a gem . I already posted pictures in some other thread.

Other member visited me shortly after move and also approved quality, We decided to go to soi 6 for massage as he had somebody in mind and I wanted Mak , former masseur at Tawan , whom I spotted another day working at 9-teen.

Unfortunately he had day off today so  I grabbed another guy sitting at front. Nothing spectacular but massage  above average for soi 6 and extras also more than sufficient for 1500 tip for 1.5 hr. session, 800 for the house.

As it happened my friend’s massage was finished at the same time so we met  in the soi and I decided to revisit him in his new digs in Marvin suites in Sathorn soi 13. Another good deal and very comfortable place although bit distance from the scene but certainly worth consideration.

Today is birthday of my diminutive bodybuilder masseur  from Maha massage, he cheerfully suggested I treat him with dinner on his birthday day and conformed on Line he will be free at 18.30 so I went there to pick him up.

 As for venue, he said up to you to his peril so I suggested choice between Foodland Patpong and G’Bangkok in soi 4 . He opted for the later and off we went. I brought him set of chocolates from Cambodia and he said  he managed to salvage only 3 pieces as his shop friends enjoyed the rest.

As I mentioned above when we dined two Jupiter boys were passing by and greeted me with smile , clearly recognizing me from visit in bar day before.

After festive dinner my guy went back to his shop and I returned to hotel to spruce up  for rest of evening.

At 21.15 meeting with forum friend in Foodland, news exchange and today  we really had two choices at my insistence, GoodBoys as I did not visit it this trip and Moonlight which I wanted to visit once more. We opted for GoodBoys.

Mamasan recognized me instantly , mentioned One, my possibly best boy ever coming from there – old story from 2014 but she somehow remembers him and me liking him a lot. A lot !

There were good reports about numbers 7 and 42 so I kept eye to see them , 7 was not present but 42 was on the stage , not too long though as soon he was called over by the group of customers. There were few quite attractive guys on the stage and few of them found me attractive as well trying to bring attention to themselves but my eye was on # 26, typical twunk , not to big but with impressive six pack.

We met before and it was historical event in Dec 2021. He was then working in Jupiter  and shocked me almost to heart attack or something as it was first and only boy there smiling at me broadly, not shyly, broadly. Of course I offed him then and after bit of deliberation  decided to repeat feast tonight so called him over to be closer to that smile. Long time ok for four grand. He suggested 5 initially but I countered with 4 and   wisely he agreed. Wisely because I was not prepared to pay even  100 more.

Passing by Patpong Night Market we got some banana pancakes and went to the room. No issue with visitors there , neither day or night, believe me , I checked both variants, wait for tomorrow’s part.

Very pleasant and sweaty night, I sensed he was kind of grateful he was offed and turned out to be very active, Finally , just before I head home things are looking up. Perhaps we were too energetic  as at 5.30 am he asked to release quoting convincing reason. He wants go home to sleep, he, he

Since he worked hard to deserve break from me I let him go without any fuss.

Day 14  

Those youngsters those days are very weak I thought as he went home to sleep and I , seeing that it’s dawning already decided to start new day. I did some laundry , checked forum , went to Foodland for breakfast and returned all wet as it started to rain.

That allowed me to catch on some napping but not before I messaged certain former Jupiter boy, now just freelance masseur , at times also listed by Jey Spa if he is interested in visiting me at 1.30. I reminded him that we already met – he was my consolation after  my fiasco with Cambodian Charming Prince in Jan 2023. I visited Jupiter after my hastened return from Phnom Penh and offed him.

Confirming answer came immediately , he asked about tip, 3000 I offered as it was what I paid his friend who visited me in Raya few days ago, Can you give me 3500 was question  to which I answered bit convolutely “ I can but I don’t  want to because it’s too much but I will give you anyways because you are single father “ .

After my nap it was till time  so I decided to check Grindr and spotted another former  Jupiter guy for whom I salivated for quite a time but never had a chance. He was on so I asked about meeting later today.

 He was keen but for 4000 firm. I was in no mood to overpay for , after all unknown quality, mindful that most of newly hired this trip were somewhere between disaster and upsetting, J #30 from Moonlight being notable exception so I said 3000 max , 2 hr. min and answer was negative so “ Ok , thank you”  was my answer. Several minutes later I got another elaborate message ‘Ok, Ok”. I told him I’m busy and between 4 and 5 will tell him when and where to come.

Reunion with freelancer was superb. He claimed he remembers me , not sure it was true or just courtesy but that’s irrelevant.  His massage skills turned up excellent and  his solid muscular body a treat.  Second guy in row I sensed is very happy  to get a business and who made sure I feel treated well. Even mentioned he may be available for long time but I did not follow on it as I had other hopes for tonight. If he did not ask for that extra 500 , he would get it anyways. That was one of highlights of this trip and compensation for BS I got from few other guys.

After he left I message Grindr guy I’m free, sent him location  of hotel and he told me  he will be there in 20-30 mins max.

I went to the lobby minute or two before he arrived, looked bit better than on profile pics so I invited him upstairs scandalizing no doubt guy on reception who must be thinking ‘ what this old troll is doing?”.

Bkkmfj in comments above mentioned guy he took who promptly fell asleep. He was disappointed and suggested we should swap thew beds that nights. After we assumed horizontal position the same happened to my guy. And it was super deep sleep. I should be upset but no, not at all. It was fun to have him at disposal. One of my friends whom I told story said ‘ you should rape him “ . Indeed I could but  felt it wouldn’t be right. He claimed to be top only but after investigation of back door I doubt it very much as hinges seemed too elastic for that type.

Anyways it was what I needed that day , manly doll to play with . Two hours passed and he was still mine ! Certainly he was tired and when eventually he woke up after 3 hrs. first reaction was apology and I guess fear I may cut his compensation judging by his mimics. Very wide smile when I told him I liked it, gave him 100 extra for taxi which I usually don’t do but I did not want him to fall asleep while walking home.

After all those adventures I  showered , saved and went to Samyan Serene Hotel to see my friends new digs. Another great room , very spacious and worth consideration if price is right. Bit walk to Suriwong but nothing long distance , specially if one knows and utilizes soi Wat Hualampong, shortcut between said Wat and Rose hotel. It was raining quite heavily  so we were talking waiting until it end and at 10 pm  armed with umbrellas we went to Banana club at my friends suggestion.

Walking there I was hoping #31 will be there, guy I yielded  to another customer other night. As always barkers welcomed us enthusiastically , one shamelessly suggested I buy him a drink to which I agreed and then he wanted me to buy drink to mamasan as well but I heroically resisted. Too much of good think I thought.  Because of rain there were very few customers but show started anyways and it was a good move because it started filling up quite fast.

Unfortunately #31 was absent, either take or di not show up but in the wings , like vulture was standing another boy, one whom I offed on my first night in May. Smiling , blinking eyes and otherwise making sure I know his presence. After about 1 hr I invited him for  a drink and over it we sealed deal for tonight. I asked him to get ready , paid off fee and as soon as I did of course as always who showed up? #31, sending immediately smile in my direction. Too late, is not my style to dump  one boy for another one , specially one of good looks but untested quality.

Guy was not hungry but I was so we had a soup at Foodland and  marched through Convent road to hotel.

Another great meetup, 4^th in row as to compensate for miseries of this trip. Day 14 certainly counts as one of my best days in Thailand ever. What’s even better , while in May my guy was kind of so, so+, this time he was active and engaging, perhaps even too energetic considering that it was my last night this trip. Sure , this trip it must be something sour almost every time . At 6 am he asked me if he can go  or if I want him whole day. That’s nice  but I need to pack etc. so I  let him go 4000 baht richer.

I love this comment.  My security team here in the View Talay where I live must think the same thing - especially when I sheepishly asked for their help to scare a stalker away.

I see you are suggesting  January 2025? Does that mean a state visit is likely? I hope to be there in January,  and would certainly  investigate  the 2 boy routine! As you have always said, you need to get two boys who are comfortable with each other. I have done that quite often, in London and NY, and it has worked well. Mind you cost in NY pretty prohibitive!

Jan 2025 this is from  my internal logistics, I dropped idea of going in second half of October. November and December are out for various social and economic (airfares ) reason, February to end of April is out of bounds, at least for now so it leaves January and/ or May.   Based on what I know now I rather skip both.

Thanks! Not sure whether that meant that you were going or not in January! You seem to have had a very busy time this month, even if not all good! I wish I had your stamina, I must learn to bottom!

Day 15, last

After he left I went to Foodland for breakfast and bought some coffee to take home. At 10 am my forum friend and me met at Mahanakhon and went up . 350 for seniors, 880 regular which  climbs to 1080 after 15.30.

Today quite clear air so we had nice views. Since I was his first visit I also showed him toilets with best toilet view in the world in opinion of ChristianPFC which I share.

At 1 pm Y was supposed to show up in the room but he was bit late. Very pleasant encounter as always. It’s hard to find even small fault with the guy. Apart from usual staff we also had a bit of talk. I asked him about house he is building in his village. He showed me his pictures , it looks that it’s almost completed.

I would never expect that but at one moment he told me that I also contributed big chunk to its construction. Not that it’s inaccurate, in last few years I off him regularly and tip him generously , first because his service is second to none , second because I knew he is not squandering money but putting it into construction. I knew all of that but still was thrilled that he noticed and appreciated it.

We had also bit teary moment when he pulled pic of his late mother . It turned out we both were by our mother’s sides when they breathed their last. Misty eyes and much stronger mutual  hug than normally.

At 5 pm we finished our stamps survey and went to Foodland to eat something and the parted ways. If I have any hope about future trips to Thailand it’s that I hope to see him again.

In the room I had about 1 hr to pack which was easy as I travel light, then short walk to Chong Nonsi and usual trek via Phaya Thai to Swampy. Checking in and immigration was easy, departure was from new , satellite terminal and soon I was in the air

Day 16

Arrived in Munich at 5.30 and since my flight home was at 15.30 I had 10 hours at disposal so decided to do some sightseeing in the city. I visited iconic cathedral with onion like towers , climbed St Peter tower for a view over city including vista of distant Alpes, wandered throughout Viktualien markt and took subway to Alte Pinakhoteke, one of most famous and richest art museums in the world. After 1 station they told us to get out. On the street I heard sirens and soon cavalcade of police vans speeded by.

I decided to walk to museum but several street in downtown core were sealed so route I took was very circular but finally got there. Unfortunately because of that police action  I was left with less time than I originally planned plus decided to go to the airport sooner in case of another unexpected delayed  and as result I was not able to see everything in detail  but collection of old masters is very impressive. Bosh, Leonardo, multiple Rubenses and Rembrants , you name it and twice as much .

Another walk to railway station , no issue with airport train and soon I was on my way.

Immigration at home was also breeze, no ‘ why you travel to Thailand so often’ stupid questions this time. Arrived home just in time to go to bed so jet lag was mitigated this time.

Final remarks and summary.

It will be brief : Ufffff !
